Rebuilding After Apocalypse in fantasy world

The people left behind are now aiming to rebuild after the apocalypse. They despair due to the gods' fight that has devastated the planet. All the important high-ranking people have fled the plane, as they knew it was coming; they were ready from the start. The pope and his cabinet, the emperor and his ministers, the Archmage with his disciples, the demon king and the seven houses, everybody fled, leaving a devastated world.
