In a world where steam powers cities and monsters walk among men, a dead boy wakes in another's body.
Stripped of his past, hunted by shadows, and armed with forbidden magic, he must uncover the truth behind his death—and the system that demands revenge.
Beneath the fog-choked cities and brass-filled laboratories, something stirs. A throne waits—not of kings, but of forgotten gods and broken creations. To claim it, Arthur must abandon mercy, unearth his true name, and walk the bloodied path of the nameless.

The content and tone of the first few chapters might seem uncomfortable to you as it's meant to portray the confusion Arthur feels and the stark contrast between the world's. By chapter 7 it'll be completely gone.

The prose is incredible, and the words blend together to create a cohesive, and interesting story. It has its faults, as all stories do, but the impressive use of language and the unique world building is enough for me to overlook any problems I may find with the actual plot.
I like the magic system you've created here, how mana is tied to the world's pain; it gives the magic system an interesting and tragic feel. The idea of "remembering" magic rather than learning it is also pretty unique compared to what I've read
the writing is really good and well thought out however the pacing in the starting chapters is really fast and is all over the place. It only has 3 chapters till now so I hope the pacing gets fixed and I will update my review. I hope to see good things from this book
