Luna's phone chimed, breaking the silence.
She looked at the screen and saw a text from Aurora.
"Hey, are you home and okay?" Aurora asked.
Luna smiled, feeling a mix of emotions.
She was still reeling from Max's confession, but she was also happy to hear from Aurora.
"Yeah, I'm home," Luna replied.
"Just about to freshen up and get some rest."
Aurora sent back a sweet message.
"Okay, baby. Get some rest. I love you."
Luna's heart swelled with love for Aurora.
"I love you too," she replied.
They bid each other goodnight over the phone, and Luna settled in for a restless night's sleep.
Her mind was still racing with thoughts of Max's confession, but she was determined to push those thoughts aside and focus on her love for Aurora.

She also thought it would be a good idea to introduce Aurora to Max, to show him that she was happy and committed to someone else.
Luna picked up her phone and sent a text to Max.
"Hey, can we meet up again tonight at the same restaurant?" she asked.
Max replied quickly, agreeing to meet her.
Next, Luna called Aurora on the phone.
"Hey, I want you to meet someone," Luna said, trying to sound casual.
Aurora sounded curious.
"Who is it?" she asked.
Luna hesitated, not wanting to reveal too much over the phone.
"You'll see," she said.
"But I was thinking we could meet up tonight."
Aurora mentioned that she had to drive her parents to the airport in the evening, as their driver was away visiting his family.
"But I can come meet you afterwards," she said.
Luna gave Aurora the location of the restaurant where she was planning to meet Max.
"I'm looking forward to seeing you tonight," she said.
Aurora replied, "Me too, baby. See you soon."
They chatted for a bit longer, and then hung up the call.
Luna felt a mix of emotions - anxiety about how Max would react to meeting Aurora, but also excitement about introducing the two people she cared about most…
