Evening came, and Aurora drove her parents to the airport.
They were traveling for a family friend's birthday party.
Aurora bade them farewell and drove back home to freshen up before meeting Luna at the restaurant.
Meanwhile, Luna had already arrived at the venue.
As she stepped inside, she saw Max waiting at a table by the corner.
He stood up to pull out the chair for her, and she sat down.
They began to chat and exchange pleasantries.
After making their order and waiting for their food to arrive, they continued chatting and catching up on old times.
Just then, the bartender walked towards them, slipped, and spilled red wine all over Luna's dress.
The bartender apologized profusely, and Luna assured him it was okay.
She asked for the restroom and was directed to it.
Max followed her to help clean up the stain.
At the restroom sink, Luna tried to get the stain out, but it wasn't coming off.
Max tried to help with his handkerchief, and as they were both leaning over the sink, Luna began to feel uneasy.
The stain was above her knees, and Max's proximity was making her uncomfortable.
She pulled Max up and said, "Max, I have something to tell you."
But before she could say another word, Max stared into her eyes, leaned forward, and kissed her intensely on the lips.
Just then, the restroom door swung open, and Aurora walked in.
Her eyes widened in shock as she took in the scene.
Her lover was being kissed by a man.
Aurora's face fell, and she looked like she had been punched in the gut.
Luna broke free from the kiss, her eyes locking with Aurora's.
"Aurora, wait!" Luna cried, but Aurora turned and stormed out of the restroom.
Luna ran after her, calling her name and telling her it was not what she thought.
But Aurora didn't stop.
She made her way to her car, but Luna caught up with her, blocking the entrance.
With tears in her eyes, Luna begged, "Please, you have to hear me out."
Aurora's voice trembled with rage and tears.
"Was this what you called me out here for? So this was what you wanted to show me, huh? You couldn't find a more secluded place to tell me? You just had to embarrass me like this?"
Luna tried to speak up, to explain herself, but Aurora wouldn't let her.
"Well, thank God I was saved the embarrassment. What the heck were you planning? Breaking up with me in a restaurant? Do you hate me that much, Luna?"
Aurora's words cut deep, and Luna felt her heart shattering into a million pieces.
She tried to defend herself, but Aurora was too far gone.
Aurora's eyes blazed with anger.
"Move away from the car, Luna. I don't want to do anything stupid."
Luna, still crying, stepped aside.
Aurora got into her car and sped away, leaving Luna collapsed on the ground, sobbing uncontrollably.
Max emerged from the restaurant, watching as Aurora's car disappeared into the distance.
He turned to see Luna on the ground, crying.
He rushed over to help her up, concern etched on his face…
