Chapter 28: "The New Neighbor"

As Aurora and Luna were enjoying their perfect morning, they noticed a moving truck parked outside the apartment building across from theirs. They watched with curiosity as a woman, accompanied by two movers, began to unload boxes and furniture.

The woman, Sophie, was a stunning black lady in her mid-30s, with a bright smile and an infectious laugh. She wore a fitted red dress that accentuated her curves, showcasing her well-endowed body. A septum piercing on her nose added an edgy touch to her elegant features, while a deep dimple on her left cheek made her smile even more radiant.

As Sophie walked, her dreadlocks bounced with each movement, drawing attention to her vibrant personality. Her confident stride and warm demeanor made her an instant presence in the neighborhood.

Sophie, born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, had spent the last decade working as a successful event planner in New York City. However, after a painful divorce, she decided it was time for a change of scenery and a fresh start.

Sophie had chosen this small town for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, hoping to find a sense of community and belonging. She was excited to trade in the fast-paced city life for a more relaxed pace, where she could focus on her passion for photography and rebuild her life.

As the movers finished unloading the last of Sophie's belongings, she took a moment to gaze out at the charming town.

As Sophie stepped into her new apartment, Aurora's eyes widened in admiration. "She's hot!" Aurora exclaimed, her gaze fixed on Sophie's striking figure.

Luna turned to look at Aurora, a hint of jealousy washing over her face. Aurora quickly noticed the change in Luna's expression and rushed to defend herself.

"Oh, baby, don't be jealous. She's not as pretty as you," Aurora said, trying to reassure Luna with a charming smile.

Luna giggled, her jealousy dissipating. "You're just saying that to make me feel better," she teased, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

Aurora shrugged, grinning. "Maybe a little. But seriously, you're the only one I see."

Luna smiled, feeling loved and appreciated. She headed to the restroom to freshen up, preparing for her day at the vineyard.

"I'm off to work, my love," Luna said, giving Aurora a quick kiss on the cheek. "You rest well, okay?"

Aurora nodded, yawning. "I will, baby. I'm exhausted from last night."

Luna chuckled, winking. "I'll see you later, then."

With one final kiss, Luna headed out the door, leaving Aurora to her well-deserved rest. Aurora went back upstairs, fell flat on the bed, and curled up, letting out a contented sigh as she drifted off to sleep.
