Massacre Of The Grey Wolves

"We are here."

She said after stopping a couple of meters away from a massive cave that was drilled into a massive stone mountain. Dried blood and bones were littered around the ground near it.

Gregory looked at the cave for a moment and looked at Sarah again.

"So this is where the wolf den is?"

She was staring at the cave with such intensity that it seemed like her eyes were going to pop out of it. Then she glanced at him for a couple of seconds and said with a tone full of malice.

"Yes, this is where they are."

Suddenly, multiple dark figures walked toward them in quick steps. The closer and closer they came to the sunlight, the more their size and numbers grew.

After a while, their figures became more clear and he could discern what they looked like. As he expected it was the same breed of grey wolf. They were the same in size as the previous one and had the same ferociousness in their growls.

When all of them came out, around 100 dire wolves were in front of them. Their eyes were burning with hunger, and drool streamed down their mouth.

He looked at the crowd of wolves and a spark of fear appeared in his eyes, but it was soon replaced by the realisation of the capabilities he now possessed. He looked at Sarah and said with confidence, his smug smile appearing again.

"So, how do you want to do this? I can kill all of them in one strike or make it slow and painful. What do you want?"

Sarah glanced at him again, a hint of doubt appearing on her face, but after a while, she calmed herself down and said while looking at the slowly advancing wolf herd.

"Make it quick, you already killed the one who killed my father." After hearing that, a happy smile appeared on his face.

'Finally, I can use some of my super awesome skills on someone.'

Then he outstretched his hands toward the advancing horde and thought in his mind.

'Total Blood control;

Suddenly, half of the wolf's hoard starts to shake violently. Their eyes were blood red, tears streamed down from them. A mass of twitching things was violently crawling toward their head under their skin. Suddenly, half of the wolves who were on the front line convulsed violently and their eyes popped out of their bodies.

Then, from the mouth and empty eye sockets, the blood started flowing toward Gregory rapidly. Some of the blood even ripped the skin from the pressure and flowed toward him.

After a couple of minutes, lifeless, bloodless wolf corpses populate the ground near the cave. Their red eyes have separated from their bodies and have transformed into grey, lifeless ones. In front of his hand, a crimson ball of blood was rippling and converging, ready to bring hell down on his enemies.

[Total Blood Control = This ability allows you to control anyone's blood in any way you see fit as long as the person/creature is in the 10000km range from you and has a lower rank than you.]

After seeing that half of their kind lying dead on the floor, fear crawled up to the remaining wolves' hearts. Simultaneously, all of them took a couple of steps back and were ready to flee if necessary. A stunned reaction was painted on Sarah's face.

"50 Rare class grey wolves died just like that. I can't believe it."

A smug smile appeared on Gregory's face, and he said with a boastful tone.

"You haven't seen all of it. Look what happens next."

He aimed the sphere of blood toward the covering wolf pack and willed in his mind for sharp spears to appear on the ball's surface. Sphere of blood convulsed, and the smooth surface of it was filled with bloody sticks with pointy ends. Then he suddenly gripped his hands, making the sharp spears fly out from the sphere at incredible speed.

It streaked through the air at high speed while crimson blood flowing out of the sharp point. 100 of these pointy spears struck the bodies of the terrified wolves with tremendous force. The Spears skewered the terrifying beings to the stone wall as they passed through the bodies of the dying wolves.

After a while, the blood spears started to drill much deeper into the stone mountain behind the cave. It pierced and went as long as he couldn't see the spears without using one of his skills.

Most of them were instantly dead after the terrible piercing, but some were alive, barely clinging to life while lying on the ground bathed in blood. Suddenly, their eyes started to become reddened, and their bodies started to twitch wildly.

'I missed some of them, I should have used all the blood I collected.' After saying that, and glanced at the twitching wolves who were wreathed in pain.

'Well, all went good, it's a good thing that I used a drop of my blood in the mix as well. Even if I didn't, I could have killed these flies with a thought.'

Then the twitching bodies deformed and became large like the previous wolf he had killed. After watching the blood-soaked ground full of mutilated wolf bodies, he sighed with exasperation and looked at the girl.

She was looking at me with her eyes wide. She lingered for a few moments while staring deep into my eyes and said in an admiring tone.

"You are strong."

As soon as she said that, a profound pride appeared in my heart, and a smug smile appeared on my face.

"Of course I am strong, I am the great vampire lord after all." She looked at him for a couple of minutes and looked toward the cave again.

"We should go."

After saying that, she started to walk into the cave. Gregory looked at the girl in confusion, a hint of anger appearing on his face.

'She didn't even say something…... Whatever, I don't want her admiration.'

After thinking that he started to follow her into the cave, the blood sphere still floating around him without a command. The more deeper he went the more smelly it became from the smell of wolves. There were also hair and excrement all around the floor making the stench even more bad.

He covered his nose and lingered; suddenly a memory came to his mind. When he was going into a dungeon that was so smelly, he copied a skill of his companion that cuts out any smell but ensures breathing.

'Stinky nose[uncommon]'

As soon as he activated the skill, a deep cry of a woman came from inside the cavern. It sounded as painful as a mother crying over the death of her newborn child. He looked toward the darkness, the familiar sensation was overwhelming his mind. Suddenly, he sprinted into the never-ending darkness while uttering two words.

"Night Eyes[Rare]"
