Escape

Uriel watched as Clark leave. She had felt it the first time she saw him. The stillness in his heart, it was as if he was not alive at all. Her ability allows her to sense peoples emotions and to an extent influence them.

However she felt nothing from him. Well to be more exact she felt longing from him, it was the only true emotion he had but it was not for himself that she could tell.

All other emotions radiating from him felt like they were not his own, they were a projection of anothers. It was strange, during the months he had stayed here he was slowly losing those projected emotions.

To an extent he was still reflecting the emotions of those around him, he had none of his own. He was the perfect candidate to be her lover.

She had lived for over a thousand years without the feeling of love. It was ironic, one with the power of purity and joy being the loneliest person, it was truly ironic.

She can't have friends as few reach her power and most of them are solitary, those around her end up treating her as God. Yet when she finally found someone he doesn't want her?

She sighed, I'm not going to give up, she thought, I will make you mine, no matter how long it takes I will make you open your heart to me my dear Clark, she smiled.

A few months passed, Clark sighed in his room. She had been pestering him for the past few months multiple times a day. This was harrassment yet he strangely felt nothing about it, he knew it should tiresome so he acted as if it was.

For the past few months he has been training his skills. His healing magic has risen to F rank but his barrier magic was still G rank. The experience gained when using the skills without purpose is low.

He realised this when he used the healing magic skill when there were no wounds to heal. Since there are no actual attacks to block it hard to gain experience on his barrier magic.

He was still a level 1 G rank human, he had not had a chance to level up. To begin with he had no experience fighting and did not know how strong the monsters in this world are.

He was not going to unnecessarily risk his life, he did intend to grow stronger and leave this place but he wanted to do more research about this Star world and the neighbouring star worlds.

He wanted to know the type of beast and monsters and where they live so he can either try to avoid them or hunt them for experience. However with how persistent Uriel is on sleeping with him he might leave earlier than that.

He was already planning his escape when his door was swung open. Uriel was standing there in her pink nightgown, her breath was heavy and her cheeks pink.

I'm sorry Clark but I can't resist anymore, she said with a heavy breath. He knew what this was, he tried to turn around and go out the window but his body could not move.

Only his eyes could move the rest of his was frozen. His mind was reeling with ideas to get out of this situation. The idea of another woman other than Tracy touching him made him furious, the first emotion of his own he felt other than longing and she sensed it.

He felt that would be a betrayal to her even if he had no control over the situation. She got closer, she was so close he could feel her breath.

Before she kissed him they heard a loud ROOOORRRR filled with hunger. She stopped and looked north through the wall of his bedroom. She frowned.

How dare this mere beast disturb our precious moment. He looked at her like she was crazy, what do you mean our, you forcing yourself on me.

Ofcourse he did not say that outloud. She waved her hand and a long red dress decorated with roses appeared on her body. She disappeared.

Within a second he heard the roar again but it was different this time, it was filled with pain and anger. Then it stopped. His body still could not move, notice moniker Child of fate activated

About 2 seconds later, more roars appeared. He heard a soft feminine sigh reverberate as an echo. The bindings on his body disappeared, what was that? He wondered but ignored it.

He could move now, the first thing he did was run straight towards the armoury. It was unguarded after all nobody was stupid enough to steal from the compound of one of the seven.

After that he went towards the stables. Only unicorns were there, there were no actual horses. He knew nobody could ride them without her permission so he left.

Now he needed to find a way to get out of this place quietly. It was dark outside so sneaking was not hard. He started running slowly towards the gate.

The two guards had their attention towards the north. He turned his head to look. He could only see flashes of light and shockwaves after.

They were fighting in outer space. He doesn't understand how a human can survive in outer space. He couldn't see her figure from so far away but her opponents were large.

They resembled whales from his past life but extremely larger and glowing blue. They looked like giant blue asteroids where he stood. Based on how far they are those things might the size of an entire planet.

This place was crazy, this entire place was crazy. How can something so large exist and how can such a tiny human fight that. As he was sneaking it occurred to him.

He did not need to sneak, after all he was not technically a prisoner here. He left the gate openly, nodding at the guards, they nodded back.

He had a few hundred gold coins so he went to a place that sells horses in town. The horses there were much larger than the ones he remembers.

They were still smaller than unicorns but unlike unicorns they were filled with muscles. There were other beasts there. Green lizards that were as large as horses in his past life.

There were even 2 metre tall tigers. A short haird dwarf approached him. You working at the ladys house lad? He nodded. The dwarf laughed.

You are a lucky fella, I heard she treat her worker very well, so what I help you with. Something that can run long distances. How long? He did not answer.

That long huh? Well then this is what you want, desert horse, the dwarf pointed him toward a creature. The creature was large with two protrusions on it back. It was brown and ashy and had two horns pointing forward jetting from the sides of it heard.

It looked exactly like a carmel except for the two horns and razor sharp teeth. How much?
