Healing hand- release soft light from one's hand to heal wounds

Holy field- create a field of light around the caster, heals the wounds of allies, effect of healing is reduced the wider the field is.

Barrier manipulation- able to slightly alter the shape of already casted barriers

Death touch- release death energy from your hand, turn anything you touch into dust

Clark was in his inn room reading the pamphlet he got from the guild. It detailed the ranks of adventures starting from bronze all the way up to platinum.

The ranks had nothing to do with strength atleast not officially but it was inevitable that one would need strength to upgrade their rank.

In order for one to go from bronze rank to silver they had to complete 50 bronze rank missions or 10 iron ranks. From iron to silver they needed to complete 45 iron or 10 silver.

Although it sounded simple it was not so. Although missions might have the same rank they differ in points based on difficulty. The number of missions mentioned above are those with the highest points in that rank.

Also if you want to take a higher grade mission you need to demonstrate you meet the requirements before you are allowed to as failure might lead to death.

If you fail one mission they deduct points, usually two missions worth of points, if your points fall below a certain number you would be demoted. He continued reading the pamphlet for what type of missions were common in each grade.

The higher ranked missions seem to mostly deal with extermination, hunting down criminals, dangerous beasts and monsters. Beasts were just animals that could use mana but they were from this world.

Monsters on the hand were creatures of the demon world, most do not even resemble the creatures of the world, they were beings if nightmares with deformed appearances.

Monsters were closer to mindless demons and were minions of demons, ofcourse there were monsters who were not completely mindless but not intelligent enough to be called demons like goblins.

Those creatures are usually called minor demons, they were basically slaves in the demon realm. How do they know all this? He wondered, and why would they write it in a rules pamphlet.

He continued reading and he found out to become a platinum rank one must kill a demon emperor. He did not know how powerful a demon emperor is but he knew in general demons were stronger than humans.

Most species were stronger than humans. He also learnt adventures were given monthly quarters to complete missions. The higher the rank the less the obligatory missions and time frame to complete them.

Gold ranks infact only had to complete 1 mission every 50 years. It appeared the increase in lifespan when one grows stronger is higher than he thought.
