Class change

He walked slowly towards the reception. Hello, how can I help you sir? Asked the receptionist standing behind the counter. She was a short brown headed woman.

I would like to register to become an adventure. Alright please fill in this form and pay the registration fee. He looked at the form, it asked for his name, rank, level and class.

He did not have a class so he did not know what to write, he just left that space blank. Sir, you need to fill out this space as well. I don't have a class.

You don't have a class? She asked as if she did not hear him. No I do not. Ahh alright, would you like to use our class ritual circle? Class ritual circle?

The kid doesn't even know what a class ritual circle is, are you sure you not lost? Better go back home lest you get yourself killed in the wild, adventuring is not for kids like you, somebody said.

The entire guild laughed except the receptionists, they were professional. He looked around but said nothing. He did not show any reaction to their mocking and that seemed to piss some people off.

Yes please, he replied to the reception girl. Please follow me, she led him towards the back, they went to an open room, at it centre was a magic circle shining in blue light.

She gave him a book detailed, classes by Von Sief it was him again, he looked through the book. Classes are paths, I believe they are not created by the system but it merely shows them to you in a much clearer form.

They are shaped by ones experience and abilities, records show that those with extensive experience or powerful abilities tend to have higher grade classes as options.

Higher grade classes are stronger certainly but they also come with more stringent limiters, as powerful as they might be they might not resonate with somebody thus making the person weaker than they should be.

He gave the book back to her. Please step in the centre of the circle sir, Ohhh and the cost for this service will be a gold coin. He nodded, he stood and in the centre and waited.

The magic circle glowed blue then he heard a notification. Class ritual initiated, choose your class

Even an emotionless person like himself would have a reaction to this, he learnt the avarage stat given by the common classes and these were insane.

If it was just one it would be understable but all of them were powerful in their own right, he did not want to be healer that hides behind others so he already dismissed the first one.

Although the second one is battle oriented he didn't feel like it suit him. It doesn't seem to encompass his barrier magic and he did not like that.

The third one was a straight no, he could see the appeal in seeing the future or what not but without the ability to protect himself that would just be stupid, plus he was not one to ignore such obvious warnings.

Unbreakable warlock was just like battle saint, it only takes one of his transcended abilities into consideration so he was going to pass on that one as well.

He could tell the receptionist was getting annoyed, he had stood here for a while now but he did not care. He was not going to be rushed in making such an important decision.

Doom healer was really tempting, not for the benefit he was just curious how an insane version of himself would be like. He couldn't really be considered sane but he did think himself insane either, he was more inbetween.

As tempting as Doom healer was the last one seemed like the best choise, it gave better stats and sounded like it gave better abilities in general.

It also seemed it takes both of his abilities into account. He looked up the receptionist. She smiled at him even though he could see the annoyance in her eyes.

I have chosen,he said. Her gaze softened a little ans she smiled, a genuine smile this time. Well then if you'll just step out of the magic circle and we will get your registration done in no time.

She looked happy, it was a bit late so he assumed her shift was about to over, her expression was the same as those of the nurses in his past life when a patient needs emergency care while the shift was about to end.

I haven't class changed though. Huh?
