The Demonic Sun God Crowned in Olympus

The broken marble of Olympus trembled beneath the feet of gods.

The once pristine Arena had become a battlefield a cratered wasteland scorched and steaming under the titanic clash between the infernal and the divine. The scent of ozone, brimstone, and molten stone mingled in the air. Pillars lay shattered. The sky itself flickered with unstable light, as if unsure whether to shine or hide from what was unfolding below.

Riser Phenex lay on the ground, body bloodied. His breath came in short, pained gasps. The fine armor he once wore were torn and discarded. His fingers gripped at the cracked floor, yearning for what, even he wasn't sure anymore. His axe, Rita, lay embedded in the far arena wall. His flames his pride flickered and faded like a dying candle.

And above him stood Ares, the God of War.

Towering. Smirking. A monster of war incarnate in gilded crimson armor, still steaming from battle. His eyes glinted with triumph and disdain.

"You fought well, for a devil," Ares sneered, pressing his foot onto Riser's back and grinding it in, forcing him flat against the molten floor. "But let's be honest you were never going to win."

Riser growled lowly but couldn't lift himself yet.

Ares leaned down, his voice a venomous whisper. "This is it? This is the man who dares romance a daughter of Olympus? Tell me, Sun Devil does Thalia enjoy her toys broken?"

Riser's fingers twitched, his vision blurring from pain. But he said nothing.

"You think you can rule a land, tame dragons, seduce gods" Ares spat the word like poison. "And yet here you are crawling. Groveling. Weak."

The war god crouched beside him, his voice dropping into something crueler.

"Do you know what you are? A fraud. A blip of arrogance dressed in flame."

He leaned in closer, whispering the final dagger into Riser's ear.

"She'll see it soon enough. Maybe she'll beg for a real god when I'm done with you."

Crack like a wall being split open.

It wasn't just in Riser's mind.

It was in everything.

The air changed. The arena shuddered. Light warped. And heat real, ancient, celestial heat began to pulse from the young devil's body.

Ares stepped back, eyes narrowing. "Whats going on?"

From the stands, Thalia stood, heart racing, her hands clutching the edge of the balcony. "That energy, Riser what's happening to you."

Zeus, for the first time in centuries, leaned forward.

From the ground, Riser rose slowly, steadily like the sun cresting the horizon.

His eyes were closed, but his body began to glow. Not with his usual white hellfire, but black a malevolent force has awakened. His skin shimmered like darkness taking over, and it poured from the cracks in his wounds. The ground beneath him shattered, unable to contain the force rising from within.

Ares took an unconscious step back. "Impossible."

Riser opened his eyes completely dark like the void staring back at you

And the world flinched.

They were pure black, burning with destruction. No irises. No pupils. Just radiant fury.

"You can insult me," Riser said, voice calm as the sun before it erupts. "You can hurt me."

Flames swirled around him, condensing tighter, spiraling like solar storms around a star.

"But you do not speak her name with such filth."

Wings exploded from his back wider than ever, impossibly vast. Each was a blade of black sunlight. His very presence altered the world around him. The marble around his feet turned to magma. Time itself seemed to slow.

This wasn't devil fire anymore.

It was something older. Purer. Angrier.

Ares growled. "You think this ascension makes you a god? I am war itself!"

Riser's gaze bore into him. Promising death and despair

Ares roared and charged, divine spear gleaming like a comet.

But Riser moved and the world blinked

He caught the spear.

With one hand.

Ares' eyes widened. "What?"

CRACK!

The shaft of the weapon shattered in Riser's grasp, bursting into embers and ash. The heat seared Ares' palm even as he recoiled in disbelief.

From across the arena, Rita flew like a summoned star, landing in Riser's waiting hand with a sound like thunder.

The axe was no longer just a weapon. It was black, pulsing with divine heat, a axe forged by the sun itself.

"You want to see the difference," Riser said coldly, "between a war god and the sun itself?"

He raised the axe.

"Let me show you."

Riser vanished.

In a burst of solar energy, he struck Ares full in the chest. The impact sent the god straight into the ground, which exploded into rubble and fire. The crowd of Olympians gasped, the force of the shockwave splitting the arena in half rattling the divine .

Before Ares could recover, Riser was above him.

His palm ignited.

"Cruel Sun."

A miniature black sun bloomed between his axe large, bright, deadly.

Gods gasped at the brutality of it all

But it was too late for ares to back out.

He slammed the star downward, and it struck Ares like divine judgment. The explosion lit the entire mountaintop, the impact so violent it shook the skies above Greece. Mountains in the mortal world below crumbled. Valleys melted. Only Zeus's hastily cast barrier protected Olympus from total annihilation.

The arena was a smoldering crater.

Ares layed there from the molten ground, armor melted, chest scorched beyond recognition, blood trickling from his lips and body a arm barely attached to his body.

His eyes were wide with something unfamiliar.

Fear.

"What are you?" he croaked.

Riser stepped forward, his flames dimming just enough to show the unyielding power beneath them.

"I am death," he said, voice firm, unwavering.

"A demonic sun God."

The skies above Olympus burned black with flames, the air igniting.

The once immovable god of war, Ares, groaned beneath a smoking crater, his divine armor melted, his pride shattered. Above him Riser Phenex stood, his body shadowing like a black miniature sun, his massive phoenix wings stretched wide each flap distorting the air with waves of blistering heat and divine energy.

The entire pantheon watched from the stands in silent awe. Zeus, Hera, Athena, Apollo, Artemis all bore the same expression

Intrigue.

Not fear. Not anger.

Fascination.

"Yield or die like a rat" said Riser

Ares stared at him, panting. His voice caught in his throat unable to speak just slowly nodding not wanting to die fighting this demon.

Zeus stood tall, his thunderbolt held loosely at his side as he spoke, voice like rolling clouds.

"Riser Phenex today, Olympus has borne witness to something not seen in centuries."

"You have defeated the god of war not with brute strength alone, but with a flames fueled by heart, devotion, and purpose."

He descended from his throne and placed a hand on Riser's shoulder retracting it after a second from the heat it left off the very air around Riser it was almost hard to breathe.

"You do not merely court my daughter you stand as her lover. Let this be known Olympus recognizes you."

"You are welcome in this realm not just as Thalia's chosen, but as a king in your own right."

The crowd bowed their heads in respect.

Thalia rushed into the arena, eyes wide with relief and pride. Her heart had been caught in her throat the entire battle, watching Riser nearly fall, then rise as something demonic made her want to cry.

She didn't speak.

She didn't need to.

She grabbed him the flames recognizes her and kissed him fiercely, her lips searing against his sun warmed skin. The cheers of Olympus echoed around them, but to Riser, there was only her.

When she pulled back, breathless, she touched his cheek.

"You scared me," she whispered.

His form returning back to normal

"I had to show Olympus what kind of man loves a goddess," Riser replied, softly still his voice laced with fury.

"And you showed them a king," she said.

That night, Olympus celebrated not just the defeat of Ares, but the rise of Riser Phenex, a devil who had burned beyond his limits, who had earned the respect of gods.

Whispers spread like wildfire.

"He's not just powerful. He's changing the balance."

"Could he ascend even further that form he look like a walking disaster."

"Is that the birth of a new myth a demonic sun God?"

As Riser stood at the edge of Olympus, looking at the stars, Thalia stood beside him.

"What now, Riser?"

He looked into the sky, golden eyes still glowing.

"Now I take steps to becoming annihilation a walking disaster and have no one be my equal."

"Now I become the sun that can destroy worlds"
