After nearly turning alchemy class into a winter-themed disaster movie, Lin Feng decided it was time to clean up his reputation.
"I must show the sect I'm not just a walking plague," he muttered, slapping a flaming duck off a spiritual herb basket. "I'm a refined plague. With manners."
The duck farted sparks and waddled off indignantly.

At the Jade Spoon Hall
The Azure Sky Sect's dining pavilion gleamed with polished jade tiles and the scent of heavenly dumplings. Lin Feng's stomach roared like a dragon with hunger issues.
"Disciples!" a sect steward announced. "Those who wish to join the Sect Leader for lunch, proceed to the central table!"
But Lin Feng, whose ears were still ringing from yesterday's "Frostbomb Explosion," heard something quite different:
"Those who wish to punch the Sect Leader…"
His eyes lit up.
"A sect-wide martial challenge? This sect is so welcoming!" He raised a hand. "I accept!"
Dead silence followed.
Three disciples dropped their bowls.
A flying sword halted mid-air.
Even the duck, mid-dumpling theft, froze in place.
From within the hall, a presence sharper than divine lightning stepped out—Sect Leader Mo Tianyun, the Azure Sky's revered cultivator, known for his peerless strength and personality colder than the Ice Abyss.
"You… wish to punch me?" he asked.
Lin Feng grinned, totally oblivious. "Yes! I challenge you for a meal."

In the Duel Arena
A crowd gathered. Bets were placed. Coffins were pre-ordered.
Lin Feng hopped onto the dueling stage, fist clenched, heart pounding. The duck sat in the front row, now wearing sunglasses and holding a tiny flag.
Sect Leader Mo Tianyun floated into the arena with divine elegance. "One strike," he said. "No retaliation. If you impress me, you dine with me. If not…"
He didn't finish the sentence. Everyone imagined thunder, exile, and spirit beasts named Regret.
Lin Feng nodded, took a deep breath—and tripped.
Hard.
Face-first into the Sect Leader's robes.
For a moment, time froze.
Lin Feng looked up, nose bent, and mumbled, "That… was the Ground Reverence Bow. Very advanced."
The Sect Leader stared. Then, to everyone's horror—he smiled.
"You win," he said calmly.
Lin Feng blinked. "Wait, really?"
"Anyone bold—or foolish—enough to attempt that deserves a meal."

Jade Spoon Hall, Later
Lin Feng slurped immortal noodles like a starved tiger at a feast.
"This broth is amazing," he said between bites. "You've got great taste, Sect Leader!"
Mo Tianyun, sipping celestial tea, nodded slowly. "You are… interesting."
"Thank you. You smell like a mountain meadow. Is that natural?"
Mo Tianyun blinked. "It's divine incense. Made from a lotus that only blooms during eclipses."
"Fancy flower soap. Got it."
The duck sat beside Lin Feng, wearing a napkin like a cape, pecking steamed buns.
From the window, Bai Xue stared in stunned disbelief. "How… did he get invited to dine with the Sect Leader?"
Behind her, Elder Mu Dan whispered, "Because this boy is like a tribulation in human form. The heavens cannot ignore him."
