New faces beget new problems—well, that was true... or so it sounded. Elias had woken up wrapped in the embrace of his husband.
The baby's second-month birth date was just around the corner, and so much had to be done in so little time, but one thing was more pressing than the others. Elias stood up and had Laura prepare a basket of fruits.
The morning was still young when he stood before the Eastern Tower, holding baby Lior in his hand, and Laura followed closely behind with the basket, accompanied by Kim.
Maya was done preparing the prince's bath when she walked out to find the consort. She was startled but quickly regained her composure and bowed.
"Greetings, Consort Elias," she whispered, and Elias smiled.
"Greetings to you. May I see the prince?" Elias asked, and Maya nodded.
"Just a moment," she said, then went back in and stormed into the bathroom without warning.
