Two days had gone by like a blur, but Elias couldn't dismiss the feelings of being watched. He did not leave the palace very often, but then, in the times he did, he could always feel piercing gazes on him. And today again, he had to visit the motherless home.

While Laura and Kim got things ready, he slowly prepared and carried Lior. He was growing so quickly, and she couldn't wait for his second birthday, which was just two days away.

Elias was done, and soon the door creaked open.

"We're ready," Luara announced, taking the baby. Elias nodded and followed them out. Rowan had an early meeting and would be gone most of the day. As they walked to the carriage, Elias suddenly turned to Kim.

"Did you invite Prince Kallin as instructed?" he demanded.

"Okay," Elias nodded, then turned to the second carriage prepared for his guest, and just then, he watched them exit the palace.
