Chapter 70: Potential Scumbag

Gojo slowly opened his eyes after a deep, long sleep. His body felt light, and his mind was clear. He looked around and noticed how calm and peaceful everything was. It was rare for him to feel this way. As he tried to stretch his body, he suddenly felt something soft and heavy pressing against him.

"Snore...snore..."

He turned his head slightly to the side and was shocked to see Tsunade sleeping beside him, clinging to him tightly like an octopus. Her arms and legs were wrapped around him, and her grip was firm, as if she never wanted to let him go. Gojo blinked several times in disbelief.

"What is this situation... again?" he muttered to himself.

He tried moving his body, but it was no use. Tsunade's hold was far too strong, and every time he even shifted a little, her grip would only tighten. He sighed deeply.

"System, turn on all the notifications," Gojo said softly, trying not to wake her.

Ding!

[Congratulations to Host for plundering Sasuke Uchiha's dream opportunity to save his Uchiha clan. Reward: 100,000 System Points.]

Ding!

[Congratulations to Host for plundering Sarutobi Hiruzen's opportunity to influence Itachi Uchiha to join the Akatsuki organization. Reward: 20,000 System Points.]

Gojo's lips curled up into a small smile. His eyes flickered with satisfaction as he stared at the system notifications. The number of points made him feel that his risks and actions were finally being rewarded.

"I guess it was all worth it in the end," he whispered to himself.

But then his expression slowly became more serious.

"Still... even with this many points, I can't recklessly improve my strength right now. My body can't withstand the burden of such power at this age. I already saw how my body reacts when I use too much chakra. I have to grow more first. Until then, I'm already strong enough to defeat anyone who underestimates me."

As he was lost in thought, Tsunade finally stirred. She slowly sat up and yawned. She wiped the corner of her mouth lazily.

Then she opened her sleepy eyes and saw Gojo lying next to her, staring up at the ceiling.

"Oh? You're awake," she said, her voice still a bit hoarse from sleep.

Before Gojo could say anything, Tsunade suddenly leaned forward and hugged him tightly under her arms. Her large chest pressed directly into his face, suffocating him.

"Mmmff—! Tsunade-sama—I can't breathe—!"

Even though the sensation was soft, the weight and position were making it hard for him to get any air. He struggled slightly.

Tsunade pulled back a bit and looked down at him, clearly annoyed.

"You brat, what were you thinking yesterday?"

Gojo coughed and looked away, trying to play dumb.

"What do you mean? I don't understand what you're talking about."

Tsunade narrowed her eyes.

"Don't play dumb with me. I know you went to the Uchiha compound. I know what you did there. Don't think I won't find out about your actions. You think just because you're young, you can do everything alone?"

Gojo didn't answer, trying to maintain his usual calm expression.

Tsunade stood up and clenched her fist, showing it clearly in front of Gojo.

"You listen here, Gojo. You don't need to carry everything by yourself. If you need help, ask for it. I'll help you. I'm not just sitting around doing nothing. If there's something bothering you or something dangerous going on, let me know."

She then patted her chest confidently. Her chest bounced slightly due to the motion, causing Gojo to swallow hard.

"Damn... why am I still young," Gojo mumbled under his breath.

Tsunade caught his gaze and noticed where he was looking. Her cheeks turned red, and she grabbed a pillow and threw it at him.

"Pervert! Get out of here already!"

Gojo was thrown out of the room with force, landing on the floor outside. He sat up and dusted himself off with an embarrassed look.

"Tch... it's not like I asked to wake up like that," he grumbled.

After getting ready, Gojo walked toward the Academy. Karin was by his side, hugging his arm tightly. Her face was slightly red, and she smiled shyly while leaning against him.

"Gojo-kun... did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, I guess. It was peaceful," Gojo replied, keeping his tone light.

Karin continued to hug him like a koala bear, not minding how the others on the street were staring at them.

Back inside, Tsunade sat on the bed and let out a long sigh. Her cheeks were still slightly red from embarrassment.

"What the hell was that... I can't believe I clung to him like that while sleeping."

She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself. Her heart was still racing.

"But... when I remember how brave he was yesterday, how he risked himself to handle everything alone... I can't blame him. He's just like him... too stubborn, too proud."

She blushed again, recalling Gojo's face and gaze.

"Sure enough, your charms are still working, Tsunade," she whispered to herself with a small smile.

She stood up and walked over to the window, watching Gojo and Karin disappear in the distance.

"He seems normal now. I was worried... really worried. He didn't seem interested in any of the girls around him lately. I thought something was wrong with him. But now... I know why."

Tsunade folded her arms and looked thoughtful.

"Gojo likes mature and charming women. That's why he's always distracted. The young girls around him can't catch his full attention. So should I... should I find someone like that for him? Someone mature and beautiful who can keep him focused and help him build a family."

Her expression turned serious.

"Gojo is the future of the Senju clan. He will marry many, and he should have many children. The clan must rise again. That's the only way."

She nodded to herself firmly, proud and determined.

"I must protect him. Even if he doesn't understand it now, I know what's best for him."

Tsunade then walked back to her desk with a new thought in her heart, treating Gojo not only as a child to be protected, but also as the hope of the clan's future, though Gojo had no idea that he was being seen this way.

Meanwhile, Gojo continued walking with Karin, unaware of the brewing plans around him. His usual lazy look was back on his face, but today, somehow, he appeared even more charming than before.

Karin blushed even harder as she clung to him, her heart pounding fast.

Gojo looked at the Academy gates and sighed.

"Another day of trouble," he muttered.

As Gojo stepped into the classroom, he was immediately greeted by an unexpected scene. A figure rushed toward him at full speed and before he could react, the person threw their arms around him tightly, making him fall flat on the ground.

"Gojo! You're finally here!"

Gojo blinked in shock. He felt soft arms tightly hugging him and warm breath near his ear. It took him a few seconds to process the situation. He turned his head slightly and saw the familiar face of Uchiha Shizuka.

Gojo was stunned. Shizuka was always calm and composed, especially in public. She never behaved so openly or intimately. Yet here she was, hugging him in front of the entire class, with a bright red blush on her cheeks and a smile on her face.

Karin, who was still clinging to his other arm, was frozen for a second. Then her expression changed. She tried to pull Shizuka away from Gojo.

"Hey! What are you doing!? Let go of him!"

Shizuka didn't move. She simply hugged Gojo tighter.

"No! I missed him! I haven't seen him properly since yesterday."

Karin looked furious and continued trying to separate her. The situation quickly grew chaotic as more students started arriving and whispering among themselves.

Then Ino appeared. She rushed forward and grabbed one of Shizuka's arms.

"Oi, Shizuka! Get off him! You're making a scene!"

Sakura followed right behind.

"This is not like you! What's gotten into you, hugging Gojo like that in front of everyone?"

Gojo was lying on the ground, helpless in the middle of all this. He looked to the side and let out a deep sigh.

"So this is my life now, huh?"

He slowly pushed himself up with difficulty, finally managing to sit up while trying to gently push Shizuka away.

"Shizuka... seriously, what's going on?"

Shizuka looked at him directly, still blushing but smiling.

"I just wanted to. That's all."

Her words were simple, but her tone was firm. Gojo didn't know what to say.

The girls were still trying to pull her away, but she refused to budge.

Gojo finally stood up, adjusting his clothes and looking around at the gathering crowd.

"Can we all calm down, please? It's too early for this."

Karin crossed her arms and stood beside him protectively.

"You didn't tell me you were close to her."

Gojo rubbed the back of his neck.

"I didn't know either she was going to do that."

Shizuka stepped back a little, but her smile didn't fade.

"I just felt like being honest with myself."

Ino and Sakura exchanged confused glances but backed off, still suspicious.

Gojo sat down at his desk and leaned back, sighing in relief.

He looked up at the ceiling.

"If I really want to be the harem king... I need to be able to handle all of this without dying from stress."

He thought back to everything that had happened recently.

"Tsunade, Karin, Shizuka, Ino, Sakura... they're all different. They all care. But this is not a joke anymore. If I want to protect them, if I want to build something real, I need to become someone worthy of them."

Gojo closed his eyes briefly.

"I will do it. I will become the harem king. Not for fun, not just to enjoy it, but because I know how much responsibility comes with it. I will make all those useless time travelers in this world who only chased power or an easy life envy me. Because I will have everything. Power, yes... but also loyalty, trust, love, and purpose."

He snorted internally.

"In my past life, I read so many fanfiction novels about transmigrators who came to the Naruto world. And what did they do? Power, power, power. Like demons obsessed with strength. They ignored all the beautiful girls, the potential bonds, the warmth of companionship. They threw all of it away, acting like bastards who disgraced the name of all men. Lazy fools. Not even worthy of calling themselves men."

Gojo opened his eyes again and smiled calmly.

As the class started, Karin sat beside him, still clinging to his arm with a blush. Shizuka sat nearby, glancing at him from time to time with a happy expression. Ino and Sakura kept stealing glances, while trying to figure out what exactly was going on between everyone.

Gojo placed his hands behind his head, resting back in his seat. His posture was lazy, his attitude as carefree as ever. But inside, he had made up his mind.

He was ready to move forward.

He was ready to take on the world and all its chaos.

He was ready to carry everything.

Because he was Senju Gojo.
