Chapter 59: "Big Base, Big Idiots"

Today was all about building a base big enough for our whole crew. Shawlong and his four idiot friends — each six stories tall — me at six meters, Grimmjow at four, and Aizen, the three-meter dog who somehow always looks cooler than everyone else.

Before getting started, I grabbed a rock and bit into it like it was a juicy snack. Why? Because eating Hollows makes my EP drop, but eating rocks? That's a solid 10,000 EP boost. Stupid things pay off, huh?

Shawlong gave his usual serious "we're doomed" glare. "We need a base six stories tall, strong enough to keep idiots like us in one piece."

I gave a guttural roar.

"RUOOOH!"

Wait — two roars mean yes, one means no — or was it the other way? I forgot. So I just roared twice.

"RUOOOH! RUOOOH!"

Grimmjow raised an eyebrow. "Is that a yes or a no?"

I just wagged my arms, because why not? Stupid actions get EP too.

Construction started. Shawlong and his towering pals stacked rocks like it was a game. Grimmjow punched holes in walls because "it looks badass." Aizen, of course, posed dramatically on the rocks — and kept falling off — but never lost his cool.

Spike o Sensei, my prickly cactus guardian, stood firm at the gate, skull necklace gleaming under Hueco Mundo's eternal night.

Thanks to my passive skill, everyone but Shawlong and Grimmjow was getting dumber by the minute. The others? One tried to eat a rock just like me, another crowned himself with a tree branch, and someone else attempted to marry a sand dune.

Shawlong groaned. "This aura's a curse."

Grimmjow smirked. "I'm only sticking around if it's for a fight."

Aizen gave a smug "woof" and shot a cool glance at Grimmjow — even though I caught him stalking him earlier. Classic Aizen behavior.

The base ended up a lopsided sandcastle with holes, cracks, and a sign that was supposed to say "HQ" but read "HO." No one noticed.

I roared again.

"RUOOOH!"

Grimmjow muttered, "Was that yes or no?"

Shawlong waved it off. "Don't ask. He doesn't know either."

As night draped over Hueco Mundo, the base stood… well, it only stood not yet finish. Grimmjow's holes made it look rough, Aizen's antics left sand everywhere, and Spike o Sensei kept watch like a tiny green warlord.

I munched another rock, grabbing another 10,000 EP for my trouble. Stupid things really do pay off.

Current EP: 3,890,090 / 100,000,000

"RUOOOH!"

(This base so ugly.)
