“It’s just my period,” Feli said with a smile, trying to calm Lynn.
“All right. Just take a rest later,” Lynn replied with a gentle smile.
Feli nodded quietly. She noticed how patient Lynn was with her. It confused her—her parents had been hiding Lynn’s marriage all this time. She didn’t know why. Maybe they wanted to keep it a secret so Feli and Lynn could be together peacefully.
When they arrived at the hotel, they went straight to their room. Many hotel staff lined up to welcome them. They congratulated them on their wedding. Feli and Lynn responded with kind smiles and thanked them.
At the door, Lynn opened it and let them in. He took off his suit and hung it up. Then, he walked over to Feli and gently held her small hand.
“I’m sorry. I’ve been selfish,” Lynn said, feeling guilty.
“You don’t need to say sorry. I know this is hard for you,” Feli replied, holding his hand tighter.
