The Real Reason I Fight

"A question?" Revian blurted, stopping in his tracks.

"Yes, and one you'll have to answer on your own," Caelistra responding, curling her index finger inward to force Revian's body to hurtle into the room.

With a violent thud, the door behind him whirred to a close, leaving the air without breath. He glanced behind him, seeing as Varek and Rivena had been separated from Caelistra's sudden influence.

Unease grew within him, stealing him of his focus for just a moment. Caelistra was smiling—each corner of her lips touching upon the top of her cheek. Like malice incarnate, it'd almost seemed like her eyes filled with black.

"What is it?" he questioned, getting up from the ground. "And was there really such need to pull me so forcefully?"
