In a world where dungeon runners rise to fame by mastering their classes and conquering impossible threats, Alexander was never meant to be part of it. No class. No path. Just a quiet life.
When a mysterious portal drags him into a hidden realm known as his Inner Path, Alexander unlocks a class no one has seen before: Beholder. There’s no fanfare. No guidance. Only eyes that see too much, and power that threatens to unravel his mind with every use.
Now, trapped in an abyssal dungeon that reshapes itself around eldritch laws, Alexander must survive alone.
But with each victory, his vision sharpens. His spells twist reality. And the deeper he goes, the more the world outside should start to worry.
Because when he returns-
They won’t be able to look away.
Just perfect and unique all in one! I never find any novels with actual eldritch entities looming over the MC — and if there are, you rarely ever see or hear from them. But in this, you feel its presence all the time. I also love the MC's abilities and where it's heading. I just love that he's being powered by an evil eldritch being, and I really hope, in a way, the MC becomes an eldritch being himself — but in a good way. I love Fae as a character and as support — and the romance! I love their dynamic and relationship as a whole. It gives me Bonnie and Clyde vibes, but way better and more wholesome. I just hope the MC develops a little more offensively, so he doesn’t have to rely on Fae all the time, because I feel bad for her. But other than that: 10/10 novel and idea. The only criticism I can give is that I want even more chapters and just a little more world-building. I think the world’s state and background knowledge should be explained a bit more — along with the power system. But other than that, I absolutely love it!
i’m on ch 14 so i’m not gon glaze too much but i can lowkey see this becoming a big novel if author keeps cooking like he is rn tbh cuz i ain’t seen much but it’s fire
Hello, author here- Feel free to use comments to ask any questions you may have and I’ll try to answer them. If you wonder what to expect from this book, here’s a few things: this isn’t a harem novel, the MC won’t be ‘collecting them all’! There might be romance, but this is primarily a novel focusing on action/adventure. It is dark, and will grow darker over time as the MC keeps descending a dark path, but it won’t be a 100% dark book. This means I won’t write entire chapters detailing graphic torture scenes. There -could- be 18+ scenes if it fits the narrative further down the line. Like any book, be careful since the content in here could maybe be triggering for some. As always, just hoping the story is enjoyable !
So fare I like how the story flows and the attitude of our freshly baked Cultist. I also like the "Lovecraft" feeling his abilities brings to the table. I hope we will soon see more of the world and deeper insights why Cultists are consider this big of a thread. Keep up the good work autor ^_^
Sorry for my English, but I love reading so much that even a translator doesn't bother me. The title of the work is quite telling and doesn't really grab your attention. However, the description of the work, in my opinion, is the best description of a work I've seen on this site. Simply gorgeous! The beginning is normal, I can't praise the first conversation very much, but it's leagues better than a story about an unhappy hero, his problems and other nonsense. The plot is interesting, unusual and intriguing. The internal conflict is incredible! Those around him treat him as evil, and the question arises whether the protagonist will become what they see him as or preserve his humanity. Will he be tempted by power and strength under pressure from people or not? In short, it's cool. The romantic component is leagues better than in romantic works! The interaction with his companion is simply gorgeous. Will they be together? Will she become more humane? In short, it's cool. The work definitely shows great potential. I RECOMMEND IT.
