Chapter 90 Professor McGonagall's Obsession

The difficulty of the Transfiguration class in the new semester has soared.

In the first class, Professor McGonagall asked the students to turn beetles into buttons. She thought only Hermione could complete it - Damon was never within her calculation range. Unexpectedly, Harry and Ron actually completed the transformation at the last minute.

Delighted, she awarded everyone ten points.

In addition, Professor McGonagall found Damon and discussed their future courses with him - in fact, Professor McGonagall felt that she could no longer give Damon anything.

From now on, she will no longer give extra homework to Damon.

Professor McGonagall welcomes Damon to discuss Transfiguration ideas with her anytime.

Will you join the Gryffindor Quidditch team this year?

Just before saying goodbye, Professor McGonagall waited and asked Damon a question.

I'm still thinking it over. My study with you is finished, but I'm just as busy this year. Joining Quidditch might make training time tight.

Professor McGonagall was a little disappointed, "You don't like Quidditch?"

Quidditch isn't a priority, time is limited.

."

"What if you don't need to train?"

Professor McGonagall pursed her lips, her expression serious but with a hint of delicacy- she hoped Damon could join Quidditch.

His strong magic suggested good flying skills.

"If you're a substitute who doesn't need to train, so I have no objection."

"Okay, then it's settled!" Professor McGonagall agreed immediately, as if she was afraid that he would go back on his word, "Wood's personality is a bit awkward, I still have to think about it and how to convince him - but I'll get it done."

 "Professor, you like Quidditch?"

Damon felt disturbed. To secure his agreement, Wood, the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, seemed to disregard protocol. Wood was known for his intense training regimen.

He drags Harry to training even in heavy rain. Although Harry has managed to do it, he complained a lot after returning to the dormitory.

Professor McGonagall wanted to persuade Wood to let a substitute player not participate in the training. Although Professor McGonagall can definitely do it, she also needs to leave her "different" side to the students.

Facing Damon's question, Professor McGonagall just glanced at him and rarely answered - she almost always responded to Damon's questions.

You will be informed of the result by next week's registration deadline.

After saying that, she left the office first, obviously to find Wood.

"It seems that there is something else hidden?"

Looking at Professor McGonagall's back, Damon obviously noticed that she was a little sad - her energy for Quidditch seemed to be far beyond that of ordinary people.

 "Forget it, let's eat first."

Damon exited the office and proceeded to the hall for a meal.

When he arrived, he happened to see Ron grab a class schedule from Hermione.

"Hey, why did you circle all of Lockhart's classes with a heart?"

 "Give it to me!"

Hermione snatched the timetable back, her face flushed with anger.

It seemed that her fanaticism for Lockhart was no less than that of Ron's mother.

 "

What actions of Ron's angered you?

Damon sat next to Harry, pretending not to see what happened.

"No, he tampered with my timetable."

Hermione was a little embarrassed, pretending to be careless and quickly stuffed the schedule into the book, but the book clearly said "Traveling with Vampires".

This classic book title format, who else could it be but Lockhart?

 "Hello, I'm Colin Creevey."

A thin, gray-haired boy approached with a Muggle camera during their meal.

When Harry turned his head to look at him, his face flushed.

"I'm in Gryffindor too, do you think - is it possible - that I can take a picture of you?" He raised the camera with an expectant look on his face.

Harry saw the camera pointed at him, and his experience of wearing women's clothes during the summer vacation emerged in his mind, and his face subconsciously darkened a little.

Colin didn't care. He took a few steps forward and said eagerly:

 "

Your history, including your escape from You-Know-Who and his disappearance, is known to me. Your lightning-shaped scar remains.

My father is a milkman, and he can't believe it either, so I'm going to take a lot of photos and send them to him. If there's a photo of you -"

He looked at Harry pleadingly, "- maybe I can stand next to you and ask your friends to press it? Then, you can sign it?"

 "Signed photo? Ha!"

Draco Malfoy came behind Colin calmly, accompanied by his two big and ferocious buddies: Crabbe and Goyle.

"Open your eyes and look carefully. Who is the person sitting next to this fraudulent 'savior'? He is much more popular than Potter!"

"Malfoy, how is this relevant to your situation?"

Damon glanced at him, not knowing what he was crazy about.

Malfoy's face flushed unexpectedly, and he looked at Damon and said,

"Damon, you should pay attention to the role of reputation and prestige. Such a little character who came from nowhere dared to ignore your existence. You should teach him a lesson."

As he said that, he looked at Colin with a somewhat unfriendly expression.

Colin was also a little indignant at this time, and he didn't indulge him at all, "You are jealous! There can't be a student greater than Harry Potter!"

"Really? It seems that someone needs to clear his head!"

"Come on, Malfoy, he is just a freshman who has just been sorted. Do you like to bully others so much?"

 Damon interrupted the tense atmosphere.

"If you really care about your reputation, you should pay attention to your words and deeds. In the new semester, I don't want to hear those disgusting words from your mouth again."

 "

I will. Since it's unappreciated, I'll reconsider.

Malfoy didn't seem to expect Damon to be so rude to him. His fair face turned blue and then quickly turned red.

 "Crabbe, Goyle, let's go!"

He left in a rather embarrassed manner, feeling somewhat confused - why did he speak up for Damon, but the other party turned around and stabbed him?

This method was wrong, we had to change it!

 "He just left like that?"

Ron was ready to back Damon up and take Malfoy down whenever needed. He was a bit confused that Malfoy just took off like that.

"Why do I feel like he seems to have changed a little? Although he is still very annoying."

Harry looked at Malfoy's back as he left, feeling a little confused.
