Walking into a trap

In the car outside the bar, Jennifer felt uneasy. No one answered the first call, so she called again.

"Call them and ask about the situation. How come they have been in for so long and there is no news?" Jennifer frowned slightly and said to Tiffany.

Tiffany was a stupid woman. She immediately took out her cell phone and called the man.

In the private room of the bar, the man's cell phone rang again. It was an unfamiliar number. He instinctively wanted to hang up, but his hand shook and he answered it directly.

"What's going on? I asked you to do something, but there's still no news for a long time. Is Mia still in there?" The man was so scared that his hands trembled, and he pressed the hands-free key again. Tiffany's voice spread to everyone's ears.

"No, it's okay, ma'am." The man looked up at Mia's face, his pale lips trembled, and continued: "She seems to have left, but her client is still in the private room. Ma'am, would you like to come and see?"

Every time the man said half a sentence, he had to observe the expression. Mia didn't let them leave because she wanted to find out who was behind the scenes. In order to sign up, he could only betray Jennifer for the time being, but because of nervousness, he couldn't tell whether the voice on the phone was Jennifer.

"I know, you are such a waste." Tiffany cursed and hung up the phone.

The man crawled at Mia's feet and begged for mercy, "I did everything you asked, Mrs. Garcia, please let me go. They threatened me with my family, and I had no choice. You know, we small people can't refuse powerful big people."

Isn't Jennifer a big shot in City A? Everyone who heard it was subconsciously scared.

During Jennifer's management of Wenshte Group, she won many contracts and projects by any means, expanded the business scope of nurses, and therefore her shares grew like a snowball. Even though she suffered a lot of losses at the hands of Lambert in the past two years, she is still a strong opponent of Lambert.

In addition, she secretly cooperated with Ferguson and colluded with Tiffany and her daughter. Lambert's situation is not necessarily much better than two years ago. It is still troubled by internal and external troubles.

"I don't want to hear you talk now. You'd better shut up, or I can't guarantee that I won't make you disappear." She said calmly, sitting lazily on the sofa with a calm face.

Mia and the client next to her kept chatting and laughing. They continued to talk about business and sign contracts without being affected at all.

"Mrs. Garcia is really not simple. It's reassuring to cooperate with someone like you, Mrs. Garcia." The client greeted, but it was also sincere.

Just ask, such a boss who is both civil and martial and can protect the safety of customers is really a lot of peace of mind.

"Doing business, isn't it for peace of mind? Mr. Lewis, you may not want to see the next scene, so I won't keep Mr. Liu. We will have a good gathering another day." Mia looked at the client putting the wine glass on the table and immediately took over the conversation.

Really considerate and understanding, the client nodded in agreement and hugged his girlfriend out of the private room.

The client happened to meet Tiffany in the corridor. Tiffany didn't recognize her, but Jennifer was a little suspicious. Just in case, she held Tiffany's hand and said, "I feel a little uncomfortable in my stomach. You go and see first, I'll come later."

"Do you need me to accompany you, auntie?" Tiffany disliked Jennifer's troubles in her heart, but asked sweetly.

"No, if you go too late, the client may leave. I'm fine." Jennifer waved her hand and said.

"Okay, hurry up." Tiffany said impatiently, pouted and continued to walk forward.

She pushed the door of the private room open heavily, walked in with a charming smile, and when she saw that the person sitting on the sofa was Mia, her face changed drastically, and she became timid and hesitant involuntarily. She stood there for more than ten seconds, and immediately changed her attitude and asked in surprise: "Mia, you are really here too. I heard your voice from outside. I thought I heard it wrong, so I came in without saying hello."

"I didn't say a word just now. If you don't believe me, ask them." Mia raised her hand and pointed at the two men on the ground.

Tiffany looked in the direction she pointed. Both of them were injured, lying on the ground in embarrassment, looking at him hopefully.

"What happened? Is someone trying to frame you, Mia? You'd better be careful when you go out in the future, don't let others take advantage of you." Tiffany lied with her eyes open. In order to show her sincerity, she took off her hat, walked to Mia, and pretended to sit down.

"Madam, you can't ignore us. We all followed your orders to trouble Mrs. Garcia. You can't bite back." The man covered his bleeding wound bitterly. He didn't care who Tiffany was. Anyway, the one who came in was Mrs. Garcia's enemy.

"You are talking nonsense. I have never met you. I am your biological sister. How could I frame you?" Tiffany was guilty and stopped the man with two questions. Then she turned to Tiffany and said, "I still have a handle in your hand. How could I do something bad to you? This is not good for me. You have to believe me, Mia."

"Since you said so, I will reluctantly believe it. Don't shout everywhere, so as not to destroy our sisterly relationship. Wait a little longer. Someone will be unable to hold back and come to you." Mia handed a bottle of strong red wine to Tiffany.

Tiffany was scared when she saw it. This was her punishment for herself. Moreover, she said you, not them, which meant that she believed that she was in the same group with the man.

"Mia, don't you want information about another project of Wenshte Group? Lambert has other things to do tonight. This is a good opportunity. Let's not waste time here." Tiffany used something more tempting to persuade Mia.

"Don't worry. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future." No matter what she said, Mia was indifferent.

Time passed by, and Jennifer didn't show up. Tiffany breathed a sigh of relief. As long as Jennifer didn't come, she could argue even if the facts were in front of her.

Jennifer hesitated outside the door. She stopped every few seconds to listen to the movement inside. There was only a deafening sound. She stared at the minute hand of her watch turning around and around. She was really impatient. She put her hands on the door handle and pushed the door open.

Before she stepped in, several men behind her swarmed in. Jennifer was wearing high heels and was squeezed into the private room. After standing firm, she looked carefully and saw that Mia and Tiffany were sitting together. The two men who came in first were injured and fell to the ground.

"Madam, she hurt our people, how do we settle this?" Several men helped the person on the ground up, staring at Mia with angry eyes, and asked Jennifer.
