After falling asleep on a late-night train, best friends Thea Quinnell and Igor Zelinsky wake up in a spotless, surreal station that doesn’t exist on any map.
The signs say, "You are right where you’re meant to be. The experience will begin shortly."
What follows is a descent into a hidden corporate test site — a massive psychological maze where each level warps reality, tests survival instincts, and twists their past into something unrecognizable.
Some people here have forgotten the real world.
Some aren’t human at all.
And someone is watching them very closely.
There’s one final rule: Only one can leave.
But Thea and Igor? They don’t play by the rules.
Hey Guyss so this is my 2nd Novel .. Please do check out my 1st one "The Blooming Mirage: Path Of No Return" Read this and Do leave comments and review's so that I can improve on the coming chapters THANK YOU AND LOVE YOU ALL MWAH 😚
So Thea and Igor just wanted a chill post-concert train ride. Instead? They accidentally boarded a "haunted Apple Store" with no exits, no WiFi, and a voice that said “you’re exactly where you’re meant to be” (rude). The vibe? Soft lo-fi panic. The station? Suspiciously clean. The wall? Literally folded open like origami. Nope. The churro? Still unexplained. 10/10 loved the dry humor, mild existential crisis, and Thea’s “I hate it here” energy Would 100% read again while side-eyeing my local metro
This Train Took Me Straight to Therapy Okay so Thea and Igor were just tryna vibe on a midnight train like normal sleep-deprived teens snacks ✅, sarcasm ✅, mild injuries from questionable choices ✅ AND THEN THE TRAIN SAID “lemme ruin your life real quick” 😃 First red flag? The screen said “ARRIVING SOON. TIME: UNKNOWN.” LIKE BE SERIOUS. That’s not a train, that’s a trap with LED lighting. Then they get off and it’s giving ✨haunted Apple Store✨. No people. No ads. No weird guy yelling into his phone. Just vibes. BAD ones. And this calm little robot voice says: 👉 “You are right where you’re meant to be” NO I’M NOT, BABES 😭 Also??? The wall folded open like origami. Nah. Nope. Nuh uh. That’s when I would’ve climbed back into the train tracks and called it a day. Thea’s trying to stay chill, Igor’s holding a cursed churro like it’s a stress ball, and I’m sitting here screaming internally. ✨This chapter is unhinged in the BEST way.✨ It gave me mystery, aesthetic dread, liminal space panic, iconic banter “we might die but make it ✨funny✨” energy I love these two idiots. I fear for them. I want more
Just finished that chapter and... yeah I’m unsettled in the best way. It starts off so chill sleepy train, snacks, jokes and then bam, you’re in a perfect subway station that feels wrong in every possible way. No people. No signs. Just this creepy, fake calm. Thea and Igor are hilarious and weirdly comforting in all the chaos, but even their banter can’t cover how off everything feels. And that voice? “You are right where you’re meant to be”? Yeah okay, no thanks 😭 This isn’t horror that jumps at you it just sits with you... Creepy, quiet, and weirdly beautiful. I’m hooked
The Train Said "Goodnight Forever" and I'm Weirdly Into It First of all… the vibes. The train? Too quiet. Too smooth. Suspiciously Netflix-original-horror smooth. The lights? Flickering just enough to say “you’re probably being watched but like, aesthetically.” And then there’s Thea and Igor, who are the most chaotically functional besties I’ve ever read. Thea: “I’ll nap through the apocalypse, thanks.” Igor: “I may or may not be dying but I brought snacks so it’s fine.” THE CHURRO. The fact that he’s holding a half-eaten churro he doesn’t remember getting is elite comedy. I want that energy in every horror story. If I’m gonna get haunted, I at least want mystery carbs. 🥖👻 And THEN the train stops… not with screeching. Not with alarms. But with a casual little whisper of death. Like the train just sighed and said, “this is your doom now, babes.” They step off into a platform that’s giving haunted Apple Store realness. Like someone said, “What if liminal space… but gentrified?” NO MAPS. NO SIGNS. NO EXITS. Just a voice that says, “You are where you’re meant to be.” Sir?? I did not sign up for this destiny?? 😭💅 Igor calling it a team-building escape room and describing the hallway as an “Apple store x psych ward cursed baby” is so on-brand I actually screamed. These two are not only unbothered — they’re walking into corporate dystopia like they’re on a Target run. The trauma is pending, but they’ve got banter and bad snacks and I’m here for it. ANYWAYSSS LOVE YOU OUR SLAY AUTHOR WHO RELEASED A SECOND NOVEL FOR US FOLKSSSSSS LOVE YOUUUU AND GREAT RESPECT!!!!
