When Hugo carried her in his arms, he went to lay her down on the bed and stood back to think better about what he was going to do. She had probably lost consciousness from the pain or shock so she could wake up but for her feet he was scared more than possible because seeing Felix in a wheelchair made him realize that it was for nothing in the world he would not wish for thissuffering to someone, not even to their worst enemy. He wasn't a doctor, which meant he couldn't do anything. He took out his phone and called an acquaintance of his to check on her.
“Who did you just call?” Felix asked him.
“You are not going to tell me again that you would not like to see strangers in your apartment, my dear friend. I am telling you that you are the cause of all this. I asked a nurse to come.”
