After the nurse left, Hugo rushed into the room to see how Carmen was doing. She was asleep and he didn't want to leave without hearing her tell him what she really wanted because even though Felix had said he didn't want a divorce, he wasn't going to act only in her best interest knowing Carmen in danger. She also had to make her decision and he had to accept it. He sat on the edge of the bed and ran his hands through his hair. She was calm and so beautiful that he began to think that his friend did not know the chance he wanted to miss by hurting her capable of pushing her to leave. 


When he saw her waking up, he retrieved his hand and stood up. He didn't want her to see him so close to her because even if she didn't tell him, he knew that in her heart, she was going to think that it was with the complicity of her friend that she had this accident.
