Felix was dying to go see how Carmen was doing but he didn't want any more trouble with Hugo because the latter was certainly at his bedside. He knew that at that moment, he was convincing her to separate from him and this truth compressed his heart. He didn't want to believe that it was his friend who was doing this to him when he had every reason to do it. When he heard the footsteps behind him, he knew it was him. 


“She wants to see you and she insists.”
