Lost Kingdom

"You don't think I realized that? Of course I'm going to stay here. I shifted all the research bases to the other side of the singular spot, and connected the intelligence team to it through an underwater tunnel. Also… guess what- the scans have just been completed. Wait. Let me check them and tell you. Don't hang up."

There was a bit of disturbance from the other end. Ishar could hear the waves of the sea slamming upon rocks.

"Yep! I'm here. And the results are….wow."

There was a moment of silence. It was so disturbing that Ishar thought Tanik might've died on his way to pick up the data.

"Ishar, we have found something amazing here. It seems to be a kingdom- a whole, real KINGDOM under the water! This- this is so awesome! Wow. WOW! And the minerals, they're all from common land. There's even a statue, and some gold, and some pots! Ishar, keep your phone in your hands, cause I'm going to search all this with my team, and call you every time."

The call ended before Ishar could reply.

There was a kingdom under the water…a submerged kingdom…the kingdoms of the Vedic Age!

Right under the Singular Spot? It couldn't be just a coincidence. Did Rathore know about this? Was it why he was so interested in this place?

Ishar hurried out of the room and announced, "Tanik has found the Vedic Kingdoms! Remember, Adinath told us about them?".

"Wow! They actually found it! A kingdom under the water? I should've placed a bet on it as well." Pratap replied ecstatically.

"I think that maybe Rathore and his minions knew about this." Karan said, voicing Ishar's thoughts. Ishar nodded.

"Well, then. We'll check on him too, once we get back to Kashmir and try to get a hang of what's going on" Aniket said.

He yanked the chain of his bag, and turned around to leave for the car.

Then he stopped and said, unable to contain his laughter, "You know, we should tell Venkatesh about the kingdoms. He'll go crazy with joy!"

"Of course I will". Ishar replied.

Venkatesh had been a great help to them, and he deserved to know everything going on. As they were leaving, Ishar held Pratap back.

"Listen. There's not many people who we can trust right now. Just, promise me that you will stay safe, and help me as much as possible."

Pratap rolled his eyes. "Did you think you could get rid of me so easily, Ishar? We have been friends ever since we were kids. Do you think I'm going to leave you now? Of course I'm with you, you idiot-"

"If you're done with your sappy brotherhood, should we focus on saving the country- possibly the world, again?" Naren interrupted.
