It was clear that the storage room was currently being built, and the tiles clearly showed the layers of dirt underneath. Aarush had clearly not expected Ishar to dig his way out of the problem.
Ishar scanned the room. Surely there was something that could scoop out a pile of dirt. And that, my friends, was when his eyes landed on one suspicious droning of light, that he knew he could not ignore. Through the tiny crack in the topmost tiles of the wall, he saw another room, the most mysterious one he had ever seen, and a big, unmistakable map of something.
Guessed what it was yet? Ishar didn't need to. He was too shocked to be able to think clearly. The blueprint of Pralaya-1, was plastered proudly onto the screen, and it felt like the world was going to collapse onto itself.
The blueprint looked exactly how you would imagine a spaceship to be. Huge propellers, a protective shield, massive weapons, guns and other things hidden inside, waiting for the moment to be summoned, waiting for the moment to kill all life on Earth.
Ishar decided to take a photo, but stopped when he saw a security camera glaring at him from the corner of the wall. Then, acting as if he's on a stroll in the garden, Ishar 'accidentally' pushed one aisle to cover the camera.
After that, he fumbled for a minute. His hands seemed to have lost the ability to work due to the initial shock. However, the next second, he had already taken multiple photos of the plan, knowing that his team needed to see it.
But how was Ishar going to show them if he couldn't even escape? He set his eyes around the room again. What a worthless storage room. Didn't even have construction tools. Ishar had just considered using his hands to dig, when he spotted a wooden box covered in cement and dirt.
He opened it, finally having a good feeling about something, and to his happiness, there were all sorts of construction tools inside! One of them quickly caught his eyes.
A jackhammer.
If the security camera was working on electricity, why couldn't an electric socket work? And so, he plugged the jackhammer in, particularly pleased that it was drilling as fine as ever, and set to digging a hole in the ground.
After what seemed like an eternity, the ground beneath Ishar's feet gave a faint rumble, as a hole appeared in the middle of the room. Ishar grinned.
His idea had worked perfectly. The tunnel was close to the base floor, and it hadn't taken much time for the dirt to give away. Ishar felt that he should get a trophy for being so clever.
After a few seconds of smiling at himself, Ishar held his phone, flashing the flashlight on to the ground below, and jumped in. He let out a small groan of pain as his body came in contact with the rough rocks beneath. The air was cold, and water dripped from the walls.
