Great-Grandfather

As the banter about Plan B buzzed around him, Batman's stoic face masked the mounting resentment brewing within.

He stared at Heisenberg, his mind flooded with countless thoughts.

After swirling for a moment, those thoughts coalesced into a single, biting sentence.

He desperately wanted to shout at Heisenberg:

"If you've got the guts, let's settle this like men—I'll push this plan to the limits of pi itself!!!"

But he wouldn't say it. Because he was Batman.

Rising from the ground, he brushed off his cape and calmly addressed Heisenberg.

"My preparations were insufficient, but I'll learn from this," he said.

"As expected of you," Heisenberg replied with a nod, turning to face Doomsday, who was struggling to rise in the distance.

Gungnir was no Kryptonite spear; it lacked the power to permanently cripple Doomsday's regenerative abilities.

Even grievously wounded, Doomsday slowly crawled to his feet.

Once upright, he lunged to pull Gungnir from his chest.

As he wrenched the spear free, he intended to hurl it back at Heisenberg.

But instead, he collapsed to the ground, utterly unable to bear the weapon's weight.

Doomsday refused to yield. Gripping Gungnir with both hands, he summoned every ounce of strength.

Instinctively, he tapped into his biological powers.

Debris floated around him as he strained, finally managing to lift the spear—barely.

But before he could celebrate, Heisenberg extended his right hand from afar.

In an instant, Gungnir flashed into his grasp.

Simultaneously, Wonder Woman leaped to Heisenberg's side.

Superman arrived even faster, his eyes widening in astonishment.

"You're the Kryptonian who emerged from that ship with the monster—my kin?!" he whispered.

"Impossible!" Diana interrupted, her gaze fixed on the spear.

"He radiates the power of the sun. I'm certain—that's divine energy!"

She slammed her sword against her shield, shouting at Heisenberg.

"You're Apollo, aren't you? How many gods walk among us? Why didn't you stop Ares back then?!"

…!?

Batman and Superman's eyes widened in unison.

No matter how brilliant or powerful they were, such divine secrets left them stunned.

Diana pressed on.

"During World War I, Ares harnessed war's power to become invincible. If I hadn't killed him, he'd have conquered the world.

Why didn't you intervene? Did you just watch us fight, treating it all as a joke?!"

Her words hung in the air as she glared into Heisenberg's eyes. But he merely smirked.

"My lady, you're mistaken," he said, stepping toward Superman.

Meeting Superman's astonished gaze, he clapped a hand on his shoulder.

"I never imagined that upon waking from an 18,000-year slumber, I'd find my kin still alive!"

Heisenberg's hand moved to Superman's head, his face softening with nostalgia.

"Boy, 20,000 years ago, you'd have called me Elder.

Now, which family are you from?

If you're descended from Zod or Alura's military-scientific lineage, you may call me Great-Grandfather.

After all, their genes come from me, and I once ruled them."

Before Superman could respond, Diana stepped forward, incredulous.

"That's absurd! Your armor and power scream Earth deity—you're an ancient god of this world.

How could you be an alien?!"

Superman flinched at her words. To Earthlings, even their gods, I'm still an outsider…

But he quickly rallied, reaching out to touch Heisenberg's solar-infused shoulder.

"I remember your face. You appeared with that monster. Are you truly…?"

He couldn't bring himself to call a younger, handsome man Great-Grandfather.

"Are you… my ancestor?"

"Am I? Can't you tell?" Heisenberg chuckled, slamming Gungnir into the ground.

"Your eyes share my power. Examine our genetic sequences—don't you see the connection?"

Heisenberg had long noticed the genetic overlap. Perhaps Elder's DNA was so dominant that Superman's father and Doomsday both carried his sequences.

After Elder's capture, his genes likely flooded Krypton's database.

Prompted, Superman scrutinized Heisenberg's DNA.

"It's true!" he exclaimed. Kryptonian eyes were far superior to any scanner; paternity tests were child's play.

Diana, however, was unconvinced.

"This can't be! I've never heard of ancient Earth gods being aliens. Name that weapon of yours!

I'll bet I've heard of it. Whether Kryptonian or not, you're an ancient god!"

Superman followed her gaze to the spear. Diana was right.

Though Heisenberg was his kin—his genetic forebear—his divine power was unnerving.

Clark feared Heisenberg might be another Zod.

Earth can't handle more malevolent Kryptonians!

Amid the tension, Heisenberg smiled, lifting the spear.

"Its name? The world calls it Gungnir."

"What?!"

"You're Odin?!"

"Asgardian? Norse mythology?!"

Batman's impassive face twitched with curiosity.

"If you're Odin, what about your eyes…?"

"I never said I was Odin," Heisenberg cut in, glancing at Diana.

"I merely killed him."

As the words landed, Doomsday, dazed from losing the spear, snapped back to reality.

Barely a day old, his curiosity rivaled a child's.

Spotting the group, he charged Heisenberg.

Bruce raised his gun; Diana her shield.

Superman clenched his fists, warning Heisenberg.

"Great—er, watch out! He's immune to energy, physically resilient, and absorbs power!"

"Call me Great-Grandfather already!" Heisenberg laughed, planting Gungnir aside.

"Now, let me show you how true Kryptonians fight!

No retreat, no defense—only relentless assault!

Even truth itself falls before Kryptonian might!"

With a burst, Heisenberg soared toward Doomsday, slamming his fist into the monster's oncoming blow.

BOOM!

Doomsday was sent flying over 300 meters.

Heisenberg stood firm, calling to Clark.

"Kryptonians never yield in strength. Understand?"

Heisenberg pursued, kneeing Doomsday skyward, then summoning Gungnir to impale him.

(As seen in the films, only divine metal could harm Doomsday—Gungnir fit the bill.)

As they ascended kilometers, Heisenberg's arm magma surged, forming a fiery rope.

He lassoed Doomsday, yanking him back down.

Left-handed magma shield met returning monster, sending him flying again.

For over a minute, Heisenberg battered Doomsday with this yo-yo tactic.

Below, the trio watched, stunned.

"What's he teaching me?" Superman muttered.

"Shut up! He's demonstrating divine power!" Diana gushed, starry-eyed.

"Continuous control and assault—it's brilliant! Especially with my lasso and shield!"

Superman glanced at Batman, who stood silent—both relieved and wary.

"His attacks are flashy but ineffective," Clark noted.

"We need the Kryptonite spear. It'll weaken you both, leaving your lives in my hands. Trust me?"

"Better than leaving Earth to Doomsday!" Clark insisted.

"If he's my ancestor, I'll convince him—even if he's furious, I'll stop him!"

"Very well. But call him Great-Grandfather. You've much to learn, young Superman."
