In a war-torn future where humanity clings to survival across shattered worlds, a single fireteam wages a desperate retreat from the alien force known as the Upyr — a biomechanical species that doesn’t kill its enemies… it repurposes them.



When a mission goes sideways, the unnamed protagonist is left behind, captured, and dragged into the nightmare of an Upyr research facility. There, beneath black suns and sterile lights, he becomes the subject of grotesque experiments: his body flayed, remade, and fused with invasive alien technology — not as a soldier, but as a prototype.



Implanted with the Carrion Fork — a living nanite weapon — and sheathed in Wraithskin stealth armor, he emerges as something no longer human. Memories blur, identity fragments, and purpose becomes a ghost.



But he remembers one thing: his name was once spoken with love. And the ones who left him behind? They're still out there. Still fighting.



Now, hunted by the Upyr and feared by the species he once protected, he must decide if there’s enough left of him to save anything — or if the monster they built is all that remains.
