Chapter 13- Only The Strong Survives

"Let's see you fight them in wolf form."

My stomach twisted into a knot.

The air grew thick with energy as the women began shifting. Bones cracked, muscles stretched, and within seconds, their human bodies contorted into monstrous forms. The transformation was brutal, their snarls deep and menacing.

Three fully-shifted wolves stood before me, their eyes burning with hunger for my blood. My heart pounded so violently it threatened to shatter my ribs.

I could feel it—the pull of my own wolf clawing inside me, desperate to be freed. My mother’s voice whispered in my head.

‘Never shift in public, Raven. Never.’

I had spent my entire life following that warning. But now… how was I supposed to fight like this?

A growl ripped through the air as the first wolf lunged. I barely had time to react before she was on me, her massive paws slamming into my chest, sending me crashing into the dirt. The impact rattled my bones, knocking the breath from my lungs.
