Now that Evie "owed" Lucas a kidney, they figured they could use it as leverage to get more benefits from Evie and the Reed family.


"Ethan will only drag you down, Evie. Only our Lucas is worthy of you," Cynthia said, her tone leaving no room for argument.


"Your colleagues think so too. Look how nice they are to Lucas; they all treat him like your future husband," Richard added, a fake smile on his face.
