"Hahahah, you are a piece of work, kid. You did something even I couldn't do... but hahah, you did it! You called all the human gods mentally retarded! Ahahahahahah!"
The Wolf God, burst into wild laughter. But I was sitting there, sweating in cold fear. Those eyes...were giving me chills, straight down to my bones.
After a moment, he looked at me and said calmly, "I think that's enough for now."
As he said that, he waved his paw gently in the air. Instantly, the blinding white space around us disappeared, vanished in a single heartbeat.
Now, we were standing in a forest....lush green trees all around us. Birds were chirping in the background, and the air carried a cool breeze. Only two of us stood there......me and the Wolf God.
He looked around and said, "What you're seeing right now is the boundary between the mortal world and the god realm. But because you do not possess enough power, you can't perceive it for what it truly is. This place might look different for every person. Some say they see an endless sea, others say it's a desert."
He turned back to me, his tone still playful, still that chaotic Loupher tone.
"Tell me, kid... what do you see here?"
I had already relaxed a little by now, because I could no longer feel that overwhelming divine pressure from those eyes. That helped me breathe easier.
I replied, "All I see is a green forest, with a cool breeze passing through. Some birds chirping in the background... tall grass… It's just a simple forest."
Hearing that, the Wolf God went silent for a moment. His eyes narrowed slightly as if he was thinking deeply.
Then he said quietly, "Kid... you really are different."
He looked straight at me now. "Kid, you just offended the entire domain of human gods. And because of that, I had to bring you here.....to the boundary between worlds. This place... it's like an illusion. It exists, and yet it doesn't. A paradox. Even gods don't fully understand it."
His tone shifted, becoming more serious now.
"Even gods have trouble here. They can't access their full power in this space. Not even me. But what I'm about to tell you needs secrecy. And that's why this is the best place to talk—about you being a god."
I held my breath, listening intently.
"The power I gave you," he continued, "was actually very simple. It was just a transformation.......something basic. But because I, a god, gave you that power, it became something far greater. And then... you made it your own."
He shook his head.
"Now, I have no control over that power. You have become a human from a wolf...it was just supposed to be a transformation, a trial. I don't know how, but that power became your power, and I lost all control over it."
He looked directly into my eyes. "You are now the master of that power. And because of that... that intense phenomenon happened when you conquered that human city. It didn't fall under my banner. It didn't become a part of the wolf domain."
His tone dropped even lower, more awe than scolding.
"That city became something entirely new. After you became its ruler, you didn't just become the god of werewolves, a new species in the mortal world...you also created your own domain. You carved a divine space right in the middle of all the other domains."
"You're still part of the human domain," he added, "but you've turned it into the werewolf domain."
He shook his head again, almost laughing to himself in disbelief.
"That... was something even I never saw coming. When I gave you the system, it was just a simple thing. A tool to help you understand your power better. But somehow, it changed. It evolved. And now, I have no control over it...or you."
"The moment you conquered that city... you triggered something across all the realms. The realms that had been stable for countless years....silent like an ocean.....you sent ripples through them. And now, from your one ripple, a tsunami is hurtling toward the human gods."
He gave me a long look.
"That's why they're angry. And that's why I summoned you here. I had to warn you."
He paused.
"Something is wrong with your power. Even as a god, I cannot understand it. But I know this....something else is happening. And it's all because of you."
"You have become a god, while still existing in the mortal realm."
His voice echoed in the quiet forest.
"That may seem insignificant at first. But answer me this: all gods ascend to the god realm from the mortal realm. But you... you're a god within the mortal realm. That is the real threat."
"If you keep conquering like this, you'll change the very structure of the realms."
Then he straightened and said with clarity, "From this point forward, I will only say one thing.....do whatever you want. Because you are a god now. Even if you're a small, weak god... you are still a god."
He looked at me with intense conviction.
"You are the God of Werewolves. And the more Werewolves worship you, the more your power will grow. The stronger your domain will become."
"Remember, a domain is like a home to a god. Inside it, a god is unmatched, untouchable. Even if I descended into your city and tried to kill you, I wouldn't be able to... as long as you reside within your domain. Do you understand?"
He shared more after that...his own experiences, ancient explanations, deep truths about the gods and the realms. Things that might help me in the future. It was overwhelming... but enlightening.
Finally, he said, "This is it for now. I'll still send messages to your system if there's something urgent. But I've told you what you needed to know."
I was dumbstruck.
He had changed my understanding of the world. My view of everything had widened beyond measure. I felt like a new person from this encounter.
I stepped forward, feeling a deep gratitude in my heart. I bowed and said, "Thank you, Wolf God."
But just as I was about to lower my head in respect, he stopped me.
"What are you doing, kid? Don't forget..you're a god now. Not some nobody. The entire domain of human gods wants you dead. Never lower your head."
He leaned in with a grin and added, "Do whatever the fuck you want. Kill to your heart's content. Screw anyone you like. Just do what you feel like doing."
"And always remember.....you are a god. Never lower your head to anyone."
My mind felt like it blured for a movement.
And then, in a blink, I was back in the cave of trials. The Guardian was standing over me.
He looked relieved and asked, "Did you meet him? Did you meet Him?"
