THE MOMENTS WITH MY TEAM

Volume 3, Chapter 70

Inside a quiet chamber, Shen Karguro focused deeply, hands raised as particles of dark and silver light swirled around him. The energy pulsed gently, guided by his Fortune Sword Master power and infused with his Dark Mage aura. Slowly, a long sword began to form — elegant, powerful, and sharp enough to cut through fate itself.

He smiled slightly, watching the blade finish shaping. His voice was low, almost like a whisper meant only for the sword.

> "This is for my team… the ones who gave my soul its light."

Far away in the hangar, chaos had its own rhythm. Kenya was tightening bolts while yelling at Ruke, who was somehow managing to enchant a metal plate with the wrong rune — again.

"What even is this symbol?! Is this... a fish?!"

"No, that's power of speed!"

"That's seafood, idiot!"

The airship groaned from the work. Sparks flew, laughter followed, and somehow the Flying Devil was still holding together — barely.

Meanwhile, the streets of Heavenly Paradise were bursting with color. Eliz and Lilia weaved through shops, arms loaded with dresses and shiny accessories. Their chatter bounced between fashion, food, and a silly argument about whether their team uniforms needed capes.

"No capes," Eliz insisted.

"I'm wearing one," Lilia replied confidently, spinning.

"Until it gets caught in a door and you go flying."

They laughed like sisters under the late afternoon sun, pausing only to admire their reflection in a storefront mirror and sip icy drinks.

All across Heavenly Paradise, the team seemed to be enjoying a rare moment of rest. But as the sky dimmed into gold, a quiet voice echoed.

> "Now… this world feels at peace.

Everyone's busy — building, shopping, living.

No missions, no war. Just quiet.

But I know not all of us are peaceful inside.

Some are angry. Some still fighting their past.

Still… for now, it's enough.

Out of 500 in this team… maybe 10 or 15, they became my world.

Kenya, Ruke, Eliz, Nolan, Lilia, Cairo, Ryulga…

I don't protect just them — I protect all. But these few…

they made my madness feel like strength."

He finished forging the sword and looked up. Just then, the door opened.

"Yo, you done already?" Ruke asked, stepping in.

Shen nodded. "Yes."

Ruke tilted his head, squinting. "Why're you smiling like that?"

"No reason," Shen replied, still smiling.

Ruke looked suspicious. "You look like you just kissed destiny or something."

"Maybe I did," Shen said.

They both laughed, as footsteps echoed down the hallway — Kenya, Eliz, Lilia, Nolan, and the others arriving, one by one. Light shone through the windows, casting long shadows that stretched toward a horizon none of them could predict.

But for now, in this fleeting moment, they had peace.

And that peace felt like the beginning of something big.
