Chapter thirty

ROOFTOP

Sebastian entered the spacious building and went straight to the roof top.

Maria was awake already and she is scared as hell, the most scary part is that she doesn't know why these people kidnapped her.

Bianca held her hands behind her back and a gun was pointed on her head causing Maria to shut her eyes tightly.

Gabriel was standing in front of them when Sebastian entered.

"I have been expecting you" Gabriel said with a smirk.

"You should have just stayed in hiding, now you're going to die" Sebastian said plainly.

"You're not in any position to tell me that, one wrong move from you and she is gone, so watch your mouth" Gabriel replied.

Maria wondered what was happening.

Who was the man and why are they using her to threaten him, it was so frustrating as she doesn't remember a thing.

"What do you want?" Sebastian asked with his dark eyes.

"Oh c'mon, you know what I want" Gabriel smirked.

"I want everything you took from me, every single thing back, I want to be in the position I was before!" Gabriel yelled.

"You know that's impossible" Sebastian said and Gabriel laughed.

"It may be impossible but you're the man who does the impossible, I know you'll make it work, if you do then she stays alive" Gabriel replied but Sebastian was quiet.

His eyes met with Maria's and obviously they was fright written all over them, Bianca pressed the gun on Maria's head as her hand slip through the trigger hole.

"Why the hesitation? I know you can do it" Gabriel said.

Sebastian shot Bianca in a shift movement, so fast that it took Gabriel by surprise, the bullet met her forehead and she fell to the ground.

Maria shrieked.

Gabriel immediately shot Sebastian multiple times on his stomach, a reflex though as he was scared and taken by surprise.

Sebastian fell on his knees as the gun in his hand dropped to the floor and Gabriel smiled.

Finally, he was able to kill Sebastian, even though he couldn't get back his wealth at least he was able to do something no one could.

A gunshot was heard and Gabriel jerked, he turned to see Maria with Bianca's gun.

She shot him on his side.

He tried shooting back but she shot him again this time on his chest, the gun in his hand fell and he collapsed on the ground.

The gun fell from Maria's hand as she saw he wasn't moving at all, she ran towards Sebastian and surprisingly he was still breathing, though he was bleeding badly.

Maria didn't know when tears began to rushed down her eyes as she tried to stop the bleeding with her hand.

"Do you have a.... phone with you? Let's call..... the Ambulance..... you're bleeding..... so much" Maria said sniffing as more tears ran down her eyes.

She didn't know why she was crying but she felt hurt seeing him like that and her body wouldn't stop shaking.

"You said my blood was beautiful and you liked it" Sebastian smiled.

"What are you talking about?" Maria said as she looked at him, how can he smile in a situation like this.

Sebastian hand went to Maria face as he touched it and smiled, rubbing it softly.

Maria held his hand as more tears ran down her eyes.

Adrian and Isabelle entered the rooftop with some men and they rushed towards them.

Sebastian had told Adrian to enter the rooftop after 20mins.

Sebastian wasn't happy they came in though, he was dying but he wanted to be with Maria alone for as long as he can.

He hasn't seen her for more than a year and how happy he was to finally see her face when he got here but now, they ruined it.

His eyes closed as he lost consciousness.

HOSPITAL*

Sebastian's eyes fluttered open as it met with the white ceiling, he tried to move his hand but he felt a weight on it.

His weak eye travelled around the room, his eyes met with Maria's head, she was sleeping.

She was holding his hand, as he head rested on it.

Sebastian blinked a few times as he tried to adjust to the bright light.

Maria's head raised up and when she saw his Opened eyes, she smiled happily.

"You're awake" Maria said as tears of joy streamed down her face.

"I was so scared" she said again.

"You have been crying a lot lately, a few bullets won't kill me you know" Sebastian smirked.

Maria hugged him.

She still doesn't remember him but she knows he is someone important to her cause she couldn't explain what she felt when he was shot.

Wesley entered the ward and when he saw them, he sighed sadly.

He couldn't believe he would be the one to help Sebastian.

Maria had begged him when Sebastian was brought into the hospital, she looked scared and he couldn't say no to her.

She couldn't remember him yet she was so scared he was going to die.

Just how much does she love Sebastian, even with lost memories there's no space for him in her heart and he needs to learn to accept that.

He walked out of the ward and his phone pinged.

It was a message from his father.

~ Did Sebastian actually die? ~

Wesley was expecting this, news went round the entire falcone that Sebastian was dead already, it's unbelievable but a body was provided and he there was a tomb stone for him already.

~ yes ~

Wesley replied and put his phone back in place, it would be better if everyone thought Sebastian was dead, that way he is sure Maria is safe.

"Have you regained your memories?" Sebastian asked and Maria shook head.

"Though I was told it would come back little by little" Maria said and Sebastian nodded.

"Are you my husband?" Maria asked and Sebastian chuckled.

"We can get married if you want" Sebastian said and Maria felt her face heat up.

"I don't remember anything at all but I do know you're someone special and want to stay with you, you have no idea how scared I was" Maria said as she hugged him and Sebastian smiled.

TWO WEEKS LATER

CHURCH

The wedding bells rang and the church doors opened revealing the bride, she was holding her bouquet of flowers as a large smile was placed on her lips.

She walked slowly till she got to the alter.

The church was occupied by few people as not many was invited to the wedding.

They made their vows and the priest blessed the marriage.

"You may now kiss the bride" the priest said and they kissed.

Maria watched them with a large smile playing on her lips, her eyes caught Sebastian's behind Adrian and he smiled also.

The reception party just began and everyone was drinking and eating.

"This place is boring" Maria complained, she was sitting in front of a table.

"Wanna get out of here?" Sebastian who was sitting beside her asked and she smiled sheepishly.

"Of course" she said as she got up.

They left the hall and went to one of the rooms in the hotel.

Maria hasn't really regained her memory and she doesn't want to either, not remembering a thing about herself sucks but she likes things the way they are.

Living like this isn't bad at all infact it's the best thing she would ever want.
