chapter twenty eight

CLUBHOUSE

Caroline sighed immediately she entered the busy place and as expected a man walked towards her, of course he is one of Gabriel's men.

She was led to where Gabriel was and she sighed when she saw him, he looked rather happy to see her cause his face lit up when he saw her walked in.

"It's a pleasure to have you here" Gabriel said as Caroline sat on the couch opposite him, her purse on her laps.

"What do you want? Carl would kill me if he finds out am here" Caroline complained.

"Alright then, let's not waste much time, don't you want to see the girl your son is dying over?" Gabriel asked.

"If you're talking about Alvaro's daughter then I have no wish to see her, she's as good as dead anyway" Caroline replied calmly.

"At least you would want to have an idea of what she looks like" Gabriel pressured.

"I don't know what you're planning but leave me and my family out of it" Caroline warned sternly.

"I don't think you're in any position to tell me what to do, you think Carl would forgive you if I tell you what you did" Gabriel threatened and Caroline scoffed.

"Wow, so now you're threatening me, go ahead tell him, do you think I care, I only came here to tell you that whatever you're planning is not going to work" Caroline said as she got up and Gabriel glared at her.

"Using the fact that I cheated on Carl to threaten me won't change a thing cause he already knows so quit trying to blackmail me" Caroline said again before storming out and Gabriel let out a frustrated breath.

Carl is always a problem! Damn it!

He needs to think of other means to get rid of the bàstard.

BEVERLY HILLS

"I don't think she would be waking up anytime soon, you should go see her" Adrian said to Sebastian but he didn't reply.

"Are you listening to me?" Adrian asked trying to get his attention.

"She doesn't want to see me" Sebastian replied and Adrian sighed.

"How do you know that when she's in a coma, maybe if you go close to her she'll feel your presence and just wake up" Adrian suggested.

"I thought psychiatrist are supposed to be realistic" Sebastian raised an eyebrow and Adrian scoffed.

"There's also something called love" Adrian added.

"You saw her at the party right, she was already dead before she was shot" Sebastian said calmly.

"What do you think Gabriel said to her?" Adrian asked.

"I don't give a shit, I just want that môtherfuçker dead" Sebastian said icily.

His phone pinged and it's a message from Lucas, Hector's assistant.

~ Destroy Gabriel's businesses and networks ~

Seems Hector doesn't like Gabriel either.

"Make sure she's okay" Sebastian said to Adrian before walking upstairs.

Adrian looked at Sebastian's retreating view and sighed, Isabelle hadn't come back from Mexico yet and he was bored, so he came here to talk to Sebastian who didn't even say more than 50 words to him.

MANSION, MEXICO

"Are you sure?" Isabelle asked and Clara nodded.

"If you don't believe me then I can ask for security cameras from the hotel" Clara suggested.

"No need, I can't believe she would do that, aunt cared about her so much" Isabelle complained.

"Why are you telling me this?" Isabelle asked looking at Clara.

"Cause I want you to do something about it, avenge your aunt, ma'am Sofia has been my boss for a very long time, if I had the chance to avenge her I would take it" Clara said determined.

"Alright, I will deal with Bianca, let's go back to Spain first" Isabelle said and Clara breathed in relief.

WAREHOUSE, MADRID

Sebastian entered inside the warehouse through the back door not without knocking out the guard there.

Gabriel's goods which he had shipped into Madrid was stored in this warehouse and Sebastian planned on burning it down.

He moved around the warehouse placing time bombs in hidden place, he avoided some guards and those he couldn't avoid, he knocked them out silently.

When he was done, he left the warehouse house through another door.

By the time the other guards noticed some of their men had been knocked out, the building exploded burning everything.

Sebastian stood in front of the place as he watched the burning building, after a while he got into his car and drove out of the area.

HOTEL, TWO DAYS LATER.

"What?" Gabriel said in anger, his veins on his forehead were already protruding as he stared at Russell.

"I'm sorry boss but we have no idea how the place caught fire, nothing is left, everything was burned down including our men" Russell said in Fright.

"Those goods are worth millions and you said they just burned down! Find out who is behind it" Gabriel yelled.

"Yes sir" Russell said.

Another man came into the room with panic eyes and Gabriel immediately sensed something was wrong.

"Two warehouses in Mexico were burnt down" the man said in panic and Gabriel almost had a heartattack.

"Boss"

Russell and the other man ran towards Gabriel cause he was already falling.

"Leave and find out who did this!" Gabriel yelled at them instead and they bowed before leaving.

"How did this happen?" Gabriel yelled.

ITALY

"It's already done" Lucas said and Hector smiled.

If he can't kill Gabriel then he would make him broke to the extent he can't do anything.

"Did you look into each member on the new list?" Hector replied.

"Yes, they are all Gabriel's people" Lucas replied and Hector scoffed.

"That idiot thinks his smart" Hector muttered.

"Get me the other list" Hector Said

"Oh and don't forget to send Sebastian his pay, he did a good job" Hector said again and Lucas nodded.

CLUB*

"The boss is seriously angry, he lost billions in a span of two days" Russell said to Bianca who was lost in her thoughts, anger evident in her face.

"I should have fuçking waited" she said and Russell rolled his eyes.

"You shouldn't be worried about that now, you already lost the money, be worried about her coming after you for killing her aunt" Russell questioned.

"She won't do anything to me, I have you" Bianca said and Russell scoffed.

"I have other things to worry about Bianca, the boss is angry about the money he lost and I am at the recieving end here" Russell complained.

"If I had gotten everything Sofia had, you wouldn't have to work for Gabriel anymore" Bianca said sadly.

"Be worried about yourself" Russell said before leaving and Bianca but her lips in anger.

Damn you Isabelle!

HOSPITAL

Isabelle walked into Sofia's ward and met Wesley changing her IV fluid.

"What are you doing here?" Isabelle asked with a frown.

"I'm a doctor, her doctor to be precise" Wesley answered and Isabelle scoffed.

"I have no idea what you told Maria at the parking lot that day but she didn't seem happy about it, don't you dare try to harm her" Isabelle warned.

"You don't have to worry about that, I love Maria, and I always will" Wesley said, he glanced at Maria before leaving and Isabelle dropped the flower she brought at the bed side.

"I can't wait for you to wake up, so you can forgive me cause my mind is not at rest" Isabelle said with sad eyes.

BEVERLY HILLS

Sebastian's phone dinged and he saw a credit alert, definitely the pay for ruining Gabriel's businesses.

Even though he had rendered Gabriel broke, the man was still no where to be found, how the hell is he able to hide so well.

It doesn't matter how long it takes, he would definitely find him and kill him.

A YEAR LATER

DARK ROOM, UNKNOWN LOCATION

Russell was tied to a steel chair, his legs and hands securely tied so there's no means of escape.

He was sweating badly as the place was dark and he couldn't see a thing, his only source of light was the moon and he still couldn't see shit cause he has night blindness.

He has been receiving punches on his stomach for the past 2hours but yet couldn't see the person punching him no matter how much he tried.

"Where is Gabriel?" The voice came again for the fifth time since the last two hours.

"I have no idea... Urghhhh"

He couldn't finish before he was punched again, a loud groan escaped his lips.

"I swear I don't know, he disappeared" Russell said quickly, he could feel his intestines struggling to come out.

His stomach hurts like hell, he had no idea where Gabriel is, the man just disappeared without a trace.

But obviously the person before him clearly wasn't believing him.

"Do you want me to ask your girlfriend then?" The voice said and Russell shook his head.

"No, she doesn't know either" Russell said hurriedly.

"How can you be so sure?" The voice asked and Russell shook his head.

"She doesn't, trust me" Russell said and he heard a sigh.

A steel pressed on his forehead head and his body shook in fright.

"No no no... Please don't, I have no idea where he is...I..." Russell didn't finish talking before the lead bullet drill through his skull.

"There's no use for you then" the voice said and walked away.

Coming out of the dark room into the moonlight was Sebastian with a stoic expression on his face.

He threw the gun by the side and called the cleaners to deal with Russell's body.

HOSPITAL

Isabelle walked towards Maria's bed and dropped the flowers by her side, along with the other followers she has been giving her for the past one year.

"You aren't awake yet, are you seriously going to sleep forever? It's been a year" Isabelle complained.

"You won't believe why happened today" Isabelle smiled as she stretch her fingers to Maria's face.

"I'm engaged already, Adrian asked me to Maria him, you have no idea how happy I am, you better wake up before my wedding" Isabelle said.

"I want you to be my maid of honor, just like you promised" Isabelle said again with a smile.

"You need to see your brother, he looks so mature and responsible, you won't believe he is the same Fernando you knew a year ago" Isabelle chuckled.

"Just wake up already" she said again.

Maria's finger moved a little and Isabelle didn't miss that.

"Maria..?" Isabelle called and Maria eyelids twitched.

"Ahhh... Doctor!!!" Isabelle Called running outside the ward.
