The crystal connecting to my spirit power allowed me to tap in and observe how events were unfolding.
Perhaps because in my past life I had always stayed in that secluded cabin on the fringes, my perspective was limited. I never knew exactly where they carried out their wild escapades.
Now, through the monitoring crystal, I could see clear as day the two of them going at it for hours atop the altar in the Alpha Temple.
They even turned the moonstone on the altar into a prop for their flirtations.
Oh my moon goddess, those moonstones were ones I had carefully selected and brought back from the forbidden lands myself.
Ugh...
I nearly threw up.
In this lifetime, it seemed Layla arrived a bit earlier than in the previous one.
Before the two could change locations, the temple doors were flung open.
"How could you two commit such blasphemy in this sacred place?! Have you no shame?!"
Witnessing this historic moment, I almost burst out laughing.
Damian and Ella were both in a state of undress, now scrambling to find their clothes for cover.
But just then, my best friend Chloe also rushed into the temple.
She had long disliked Damian, and upon seeing this scene, she immediately grasped what had transpired.
"Damian, you absolute scumbag! How dare you do this behind Celia's back!Damian never expected to be caught in the act.
But he still chivalrously stood in front of Ella, "This has nothing to do with Ella, don't give her trouble. If you have any issues, come at me."
Well, well, well, how romantic.
"Damian, How could this happen? Why did Elder Layla and Celia's friend suddenly show up?" Ella fake-cried while casually asking.
Sure enough, that brainless Damian immediately took the bait.
"Layla, why are you here? Did Celia tattle on me? I never thought she'd be that kind of bitch..."
Before Damian could finish, his own mother slapped him across the face.
"Don't eat your own shit and pin all the blame on Celia! She wouldn't stoop so low as to tattle to me. Besides, she's your true mate. Even if she caught you cheating, wouldn't that be perfectly within her rights?"
My bestie chimed in, "Celia's seriously injured and can't even get out of bed. I came to bring her medicinal soup. Don't assume everyone's as heartless as you!"
Damian was stunned.
"What? Celia's hurt?"
He seemed to realize I might be at the pack, his expression growing grave. Therefore, he quickly got dressed, intending to investigate my residence, ignoring Ella who wanted to cling to his arm.
"Damian..."
She still wanted to whine and stop Damian from leaving, but ended up getting slapped across the face by my best friend.
"Stop acting so disgusting, trying to seduce someone else's partner. Have you no shame!"
There were no cameras in my residence, so I couldn't see Damian's expression.
But when Damian came down, he seemed much calmer.
"You don't need to team up to deceive me. Celia isn't lying in the cabin at all. I think she's just making excuses to play the victim, trying to use you to catch me."
My best friend was almost laughing with anger.
"Damian, did some evil spirit eat your brain? Who would curse themselves to get hurt for no reason? I'm contacting her right now."
"Fine, if it turns out she really set me up today, just to let you guys come to our sacred grounds to bully Ella, I definitely won't let her off the hook!"
