Capturing Black Dragon

As Rush charged forward, the massive Class B demon beast—a colossal lizard—spread its wings and unleashed a piercing, ear-splitting roar that echoed through the air, as if preparing either to take flight or plunge into battle.

Black Dragon sprang to his feet and dashed toward the beast. Yet, at that moment, his eyes caught a sudden silhouette streaking across the sky—a woman wielding a long blade that descended swiftly upon the creature's neck.

With a sharp whoosh, the blade sliced through. Blood erupted violently from the beast's throat... and the enormous lizard's head crashed to the ground before Black Dragon, jaws snapping grotesquely as crimson ichor spilled forth.

Pandora landed gracefully beside the fallen beast, its wings now drooping limply as its massive body toppled to the side.

Her alluring form shimmered under the sun's glare, alabaster skin radiant against her flowing violet hair. Blood dripped from the long blade still clenched in her right hand as she fixed her gaze unwaveringly on Black Dragon.

Staring at Pandora, Black Dragon's eyes brimmed with astonishment—never had he imagined a mere Class B demon beast could be decapitated so swiftly. Such overwhelming combat prowess was nothing short of terrifying.

Pandora sneered disdainfully, "So you are Black Dragon."

Black Dragon tore off his robe, revealing his grotesque body to the open air. His tentacles, once mere flesh, had transformed—now armored with shimmering golden metallic scales that glittered with an imperious radiance.

"I am Black Dragon," he growled, "I'm surprised you managed to track me here. Luckily, I have undergone modifications and evolved—otherwise, Xiao Feng's bullet would have ended me just now. Don't think I fear you... you pathetic little brats!" With that, Black Dragon lunged fiercely toward Pandora.

Pandora's eyes locked onto him as she swung her blade viciously toward his head.

A snap echoed as a tentacle whipped out, deflecting her strike. Then three or five tentacles jabbed at her like spears.

Pandora furrowed her brow, conjuring a blade on her left arm which she swung horizontally, slashing at the advancing tentacles. Clang clang—to her shock, Black Dragon's tentacles remained unsevered.

Black Dragon chuckled cruelly. "Ha! You see my true power now—I am truly impervious to blade and spear!"

Once more, his tentacles thrust toward Pandora, but suddenly his body froze, as though time itself had stalled, all tentacles stiffening instantly.

Black Dragon blinked, struggling to turn his head—and there he saw Rush standing behind him, hands raised, wielding pure mental force that had completely seized control of his body.

A deathly smile curled at Pandora's lips as she swung her twin blades fiercely at Black Dragon.

Meanwhile, on another front, Xiao Feng and Tu Gou were equally engaged in fierce combat. The first cultist charging Xiao Feng was clearly an Earl-level disciple. His right arm morphed rapidly into a massive, savage claw, larger than his own body. Roaring like a beast, he lunged at Xiao Feng.

Xiao Feng dodged deftly, clenching his fist and delivering a brutal punch to the cultist's jaw with such power and speed that regret immediately flickered in the attacker's eyes.

The punch shattered the jaw with a crisp crack. As the cultist's body was tossed upward by Xiao Feng's momentum, Xiao Feng spun and launched a devastating kick at another attacker—crack—sending him flying over ten meters with a pitiful shriek.

Swiftly turning, Xiao Feng executed a whip-like sidekick to the descending cultist, blasting him another dozen meters away. The cultist crashed hard to the ground, unable to rise again.

Tu Gou and Gui Yao watched in amazement as Xiao Feng dispatched cultists one by one with brutal efficiency—each fallen opponent rendered powerless by his evolved eighth-level supernatural strength.

Breathing heavily, Xiao Feng paused, surrounded by cultists writhing and struggling on the ground. Though transformed into beasts, they were helpless against his overwhelming power.

He glanced toward Pandora and Rush, observing Pandora's blade swing fiercely at Black Dragon's shoulder, sparks flying upon impact.

Xiao Feng approached, eyeing Black Dragon's peculiar physique with curiosity. "What's wrong?" he asked Pandora.

Her expression soured. "I can't penetrate his defenses."

Rush also looked grim. "I'm running out of strength."

Xiao Feng nodded. "Hold on a little longer..." Then, with a wry smile, he stepped toward Black Dragon. "King of the Evil Dragons, long time no see..." He grabbed two of Black Dragon's tentacles and twisted them forcefully into a tight knot.

Pandora's surprise was palpable—she never expected Xiao Feng to restrain Black Dragon so swiftly. Within two minutes, he had expertly bound the dragon's own limbs in a crushing grip.

Turning to Rush, Xiao Feng said, "Alright, retract your powers."

As Rush withdrew his psychic grip, Black Dragon collapsed to the ground, glaring at Xiao Feng with furious hatred. "Bastard..."

Xiao Feng chuckled, elated. At last, he was about to avenge Ivy. "Black Dragon, didn't expect to be captured alive today, huh? I've waited a long time for this day. Don't worry—I won't kill you now. I'll bring you before Ivy's tomb so she can see with her own eyes how I've avenged her... heh."

With that, Xiao Feng hoisted Black Dragon up and addressed Rush and the others, "Let's go. We're heading back to Black Whale City first—I need Black Dragon's blood to honor Ivy and Turner."

Seeing the solemn resolve etched on Xiao Feng's face, Rush and the others felt a wave of melancholy. After all, Ivy was such a beautiful girl, mercilessly slain by the Evil Dragon Cult—their hatred for those fiends burned fiercely.

This time, Xiao Feng didn't drive. Instead, he personally guarded Black Dragon as they set off toward the sanctuary.
