Thank You… For Saving Me.

Nadi owed her life to Hasan yet again.

When she came to and saw Hasan conversing with the doctor, it took her a moment to comprehend the situation.

Hadn't she called Lili? Why was Hasan here instead...

Perhaps sensing that she had regained consciousness, Hasan told the doctor, "Alright, I understand. Leave the rest to me. You can head home now."

Once the doctor departed, Nadi and Hasan were the only ones left in the ward.

"Did I... dial the wrong number?" Nadi asked. "I've troubled you again, Mr. Wijaya. Thank you."

Hasan's brows remained furrowed, showing no signs of relaxation. "It's no trouble at all."

"The surgery was recent, and you're still under the effects of anesthesia. However, the anesthetic won't last much longer. It might become quite painful soon. Try to endure it," Hasan said, his voice never losing the compassion typical of a medical professional.
