Desperate Wait for the Test Results

Nadi felt a chill run through her entire body, from the top of her head to the tips of her toes.

"Bastard," the word echoed in her mind.

Even though the child carried half of her blood and belonged to Adi, Adi still had the audacity to call it a bastard!

How could she possibly bring this child into the world with a sense of peace and acceptance!

But at present, Adi was convinced that she was lying about her pregnancy. He was determined to conduct a more thorough examination soon, and the existence of the child could no longer remain hidden.

Nadi's eyelashes quivered rapidly. "I'm not crying," she murmured softly.

She responded in this manner.

Adi grasped her chin and then used the thumb of his other hand to gently rub at the corner of her mouth. "It's wet," he said mockingly.

He placed his fingertip on her thin lips. "So salty indeed."
