Nadi kept telling herself that her mother was just sleeping. She had been trying to fool herself.
She had just sung a lullaby and put her mother to sleep. Her singing was so beautiful that her mother got lost in it while listening.
But now, Adi told her that her mother had passed away.
And before passing away, she left a will.
How could this be possible?
"My mom is not dead!" Nadi glared at Adi fiercely, "Adi, show some respect, don't joke about someone else's mother like that!"
Adi noticed that something was wrong with Nadi. Obviously, Nadi was in denial, deceiving herself, unable to accept reality.
However, if one were to really make such a conclusion, it wouldn't be entirely accurate. Adi saw that Nadi was shedding tears.
Blood tears.
Her face was pale, deathly pale, ghastly pale, with two streaks of blood tears streaming down her cheeks, a shocking sight.
