You're Protecting This Man

Hasan closed his eyes.

The pain he had expected didn't come. When he opened them again, he saw Nadi shove Adi aside and stand protectively in front of him.

She was so slight and delicate, but without hesitation, she stretched out her arms to guard him.

The intensity in Hasan's gaze grew even stronger. He became more certain than ever that Nadi was someone who deserved trust, love, and care.

At the same time, he was absolutely convinced that Adi was utterly blind!

The gunshot rang out, but the bullet veered off course, striking a nearby tree instead.

Adi glanced at the blackened hole left in the tree trunk, his chest rising and falling with two deep breaths. Then, with icy disdain, he stared at Nadi. "You're protecting him?"

There she stood, enduring both physical and emotional pain, as straight and unyielding as a pine tree shielding Hasan. To Adi, she appeared nothing short of a guardian angel.

It was too blinding!

Was this the love Nadi claimed to have for him?
