Enemies at Every Turn

"Don't make me say it again, Nadi. Get out of the car now. Or do you want me to personally throw you out?" Adi urged impatiently.

He's really panicking. The more time he wastes, the more danger Aisha is in. From the few words Aisha managed to say, he can tell she's going through hell right now.

Nadi sneers, her lips curling slightly.

She's not a goldfish with a three-second memory.

She hasn't forgotten what happened at the hospital, how Adi ordered her not to die, not to jump off the building, even told her to have another child with him.

And now? Now he's kicking her out of the car. With her health condition, staying out here in this desolate wilderness for a few hours might kill her.
