The Final Farewell

"No," the muscular man spat out, "I'm not just gonna kill you. I'm gonna mess up your body so bad that you won't even have an afterlife! Heard if your corpse ain't intact, there's no next life for you, hah! You'll suffer forever!"

The muscular man had completely lost any sense of dignity. His mind was twisted and cruel.

Cursing and cackling wildly, he revved his motorcycle and charged straight at Nadi with a buzzing roar.

The scar-faced man and the tattooed man kicked their engines to life too.

Three bikes, one target: Nadi.

Nadi didn't flinch or try to dodge. She slipped her hand into her pocket and quietly hit the emergency call button.

That was all she could do now. She trusted the police would trace her call and track them down eventually through whatever clues they left behind.

Closing her eyes, she braced herself for the pain and embraced the thought of death.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Three sharp gunshots rang out near Nadi's ears.
