A boy born after a kingdom had fallen to ruin, found himself outside a mysterious temple. Upon entering the boy met a dark man from before the fall. The man seems keen on telling his story, what mysteries are there to uncover from the forgotten past..?



A man clad in onyx armor stood alone in a crimson shaded battlefield. Bodies of the fallen piled and the stench of death filling the air, the sky itself had turned blood red from the weight of the cardinal sin committed. With a scream that shattered reality, one man stood alone. Surrounded only by his anguish and suffering, his mind had long since departed from his soul. His laughter began to distort everything, as if the world was convulsing from the repulsive sound. Then finally, he fell still.



Long ago, before the gods had departed from the mortal world of Aether, there was a kingdom called Elysium. The power split between four nobles all under one ruler. The king was called Josiah the Benevolent, kind and caring to all his people. A role model for kings to come, and a herald of justice in the world. But there would be no next king, for this is not a story of joy nor happy endings... only tragedy and heartbreak. This is the tale of Josiah, the Mad king of Wrath
