I fell from the stars and landed in the Marvel Universe—right into the chaos of the '90s, where mutants walk the streets and the world still thinks it's normal.
No cosmic destiny.
No hero's journey.
No thirst for power or fortune.
I'm not here to change the world—just to watch it burn from a safe distance... preferably with snacks.
Call me a background character. A professional bystander.
If the universe insists on dragging me into the spotlight, well—I'll just treat it like front-row seats to the greatest show on Earth.
Why be the hero… when you can be the audience?

Heads up: This is a slice-of-life style story, so it's slow-paced and focuses on everyday moments, character growth, and subtle developments. If you're looking for fast action or high-stakes drama, this might not be your cup of tea—but if you enjoy relaxed, character-driven narratives, I hope you’ll still give it a chance!
he doesn't do anything about the experimental base which I find shitty
Tbh, with how much I read Marvel fanfic. This one here is a fresh breath of air. No world conqueror mumbo jumbo, no psychopath MC, no harem bs. Just a man with superman power that try to live day by day. Its a good slice of life so far.
This is an unusual story. Usually I get annoyed by the slow pace, but here the author has masterfully approached the description of the world, characters and plot. I feel like I'm watching a Clint Eastwood movie))
Its a fresh take on cliche trope. However he literally does nothing throughout the story. Its better than most Chinese progranda novel. However it does jab at America a lot. Expect one negative comment on it every over chapter. Fresh take 9/10 Writing quality 8/10 Character development 4/10 World building... Its the marvel universe… Chinese propaganda. Basically none Chinese jabbing at America 8/10 you see it every other chapter
Hey author your story is unique 😌🫶🏽thanks to God I didn't choose to ignored your story thinking 'great that another cliche overpowered Mc, shitty system story', instead I choose to read and 'oh Boy' it's suprised me how much unique and Original it's is. I truly enjoys reading slow pace storys and I feel your story got strong potential to become best. Im looking forward to read more chapters in the future.
the translation is pretty good, the premise were interesting, unfortunately the story went downhill fast. There ain't even a story after the crab boat arc, it's just MC doing something then a brick wall of whining about 90s America comes next. It's full of this is 90s blah blah blah vs 2020s blah blah blah.
I have read the MTL to ch.275 which is current. The slice of life is well written but X-Men portions especially mystique are pretty bad MTL is called: Marvel Salty Fish Kryptonian
Absolute fire and one of the best that I've found on this app, The character has a somewhat flushed out background, and the way the author gave the Mc character development to not really be affected by pain and be mentally strong was really natural and didn't feel forced, and from what I've seen it isn't going to be a story where the my is in constant action it goes with a more natural and realistic approach, well a natural as it can get with an overpowered character. I believe one of the main reasons I like it is because it is roughly something I would do, aka get transmigrated into dragon ball become beyond op and just observe different timelines and mostly create different what if scenarios and see how it plays out and intervene if I don't like what I'm seeing. from what I've observed this is the approach the Mc is going for.
6 chapters 6 20/20
this is a translation . The story is quite interesting although it doesn't have much action it has quite nice story as it is mainly focused on slice of life . after he leaves alaska he will venture into LA to play small background roles in Hollywood while enjoying life , the author also introduced continental hotel and john wick into the storyline. overall it's quite unique and a nice read although sometimes it just full on american history lesson and old pop culture reference, also be warned the mc makes quite many racist remarks towards black people
One of the best fanfiction I've read. Characters feel real not NPCs. Great world building. It might feel slow but it's not boring. it's like watching a TV show. Anyways it's only 25 chaps so we will see. Great work.
The rate at which this story develops is so glacial that I think by the time mc does remotely interesting things, it will be like 500 chaps. Mc has superman powers but wants to live a normal life which is fine but feels like such a waste. Mc has no personality either to carry a slice of life story and seems generic af. A superman slice of life story can be done but here it feels like it would work better if mc was just an avg guy who woke up in America and tries to get by. The superpowers don't add anything to the story so far and mc also says that he will do this or that but has done nothing . Its been 40 chaps and mc is looking for a place to rent or something...... Read if you are very very bored.
It would be a great story if it weren't incredibly boring. 40 chapters of almost nothing but pointless moments and plot points, with a protagonist that a stone could replace. Seriously, the MC has zero flavor, zero ambition, zero interests, zero charisma, and zero relationships. The start was interesting until you stop to think why, though? 20 years of mental and physical torture and the impact it had on him? Zero, because he is a rock.
