Casper and his friends boarded the mana train and sat in their usual spot, staring out the window while they conversed.
The interior of the mana train was brightly lit with a mixture of white and blue lights.
The mana train was noisy as both students, merchants and people going to their various offices and jobs crowded it. The sound of loud laughter filled the mana train as people chatted. The cries of babies filled the room as mothers tried hushing the crying children.
"The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round all through the town," a group of children excitedly sang.
"We are not even on a bus," Cassie commented.
"Cassie, just let them be, they're kids. They should have fun," Henry said as he tinkered with something in his hands.
"I'm just saying, they should sing something realistic, we are in a train, so they should sing about a train not a bus," Cassie said with a shrug.
"Just let them be you big bully," Joe said.
"Yo, Casper, you look tired as fuck," Cassie said. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just feel tired from sleeping late," Casper responded with a yawn.
"Ya, we all are tired too, I wish I could sleep some more, but my mom wouldn't allow me to," Cassie said.
"What happened after the police officers dropped you off? I was hearing bits of information when your mom called my parents," Joe asked.
"Oh! Really? What happened," Henry asked.
"Well, after the police officers drop me off...." Casper began recounting yesterday's event while being occasionally stopped by the others to ask questions.
"Wait! What‽ Your mom punched the police officer?" Cassie asked with wide eyes.
Their mouths hung open as they heard that Mrs. Margaret punched an officer in the nose which caused it to break.
"Yeah, she was so distracted by asking about my whereabouts on the phone that she didn't notice me nor the police officers," Casper said.
"And when Officer Dave touched her shoulder she was so startled that she punched without thinking,"
"The other officers took out their guns, they wanted to arrest my mom for assaulting a police officer, but luckily Officer Dave told them to stop." Casper said.
"Damn that was wild, epic bro," Cassie shouted.
Her shout made everyone look at her.
"What? Why are you guys looking at me? I'm not the only one shouting, you all are also shouting, so face your fronts and mind your business," Cassie said
