On the Six Paths of Samsara, East Blue—

Uchiha Chiga ultimately decided to make a trip to the East Blue, intending to acquire the materials needed for his Puppet and, while at it, give Luffy a good "education."

Of course, Chiga didn't believe he could truly change Luffy. The most suitable candidate for that task would have been Naruto, another protagonist from a different world. Never underestimate the power of Talk no Jutsu.

Unfortunately, bringing Naruto here was impossible. When Chiga transmigrated, Naruto had only been born a few years prior. Now, he wondered how far the Naruto world had progressed.

Speaking of Naruto, a figure with a similar spiky blond hairstyle appeared in Chiga's mind: the Yellow Flash of Konoha—Minato Namikaze.

Chiga's existence had a limited impact on the Naruto world's development; Minato still died during the Nine-Tails attack.

Recalling his past life in the Naruto world, a touch of sadness inevitably crossed Chiga's face.

He had altered the destinies of many in the One Piece world, yet he couldn't change the fate of his own friend.

Although Chiga knew what would happen in the Naruto world's future, he couldn't tell Minato everything. First, there was the issue of whether Minato would even believe him. Second, given Minato's trust in the system, it was highly likely the Third Hokage and others would find out.

At that time, Minato held Hiruzen Sarutobi in high regard.

And if Hiruzen knew, Danzo wouldn't be far behind.

Danzo, who already harbored deep suspicions toward the Uchiha clan, would've jumped at the opportunity, using Chiga's "disloyalty" as an excuse to eliminate him.

In the Naruto world, Chiga had no system or cheat abilities—only future knowledge. How could he help Minato when he was already living in danger?

All he could do was leave subtle hints, but those were mere drops in an ocean.

During the Nine-Tails attack, Chiga already possessed the Mangekyo Sharingan, but he dared not reveal it.

By the time he arrived at the scene, Minato and Kushina were already dead. Even with the power of the Rinnegan, Chiga was powerless to change that outcome.

He would never forget that night—standing helpless beside their lifeless bodies, Naruto's newborn cries echoing in the cold air.

That night, he made a decision.

He would leave Konoha.

If only he had the ability to travel between worlds—then perhaps he could return to the Naruto world again someday.

Chiga sighed at the thought.

Kalifa and Ain, standing on either side of him, noticed his sigh and turned to look at him in unison.

They were both stunned.

This was the first time they had ever seen Chiga like this. To them, he was untouchable—someone capable of anything. What could make such a man look so crestfallen?

Kalifa and Ain moved closer to him, each taking one of his hands in theirs.

Feeling the warmth of their touch, Chiga glanced at them. He saw the concern and worry in their eyes.

He gave them a soft, reassuring smile.

"What's wrong? Are you two suddenly worried about me?" he asked.

"Boss… were you thinking about something sad? Was it about your family?" Kalifa asked cautiously.

She remembered Chiga once telling her he was the last surviving Uchiha in this world. She didn't know how such a powerful clan could be reduced to one person, but she assumed that was the source of his grief.

Chiga waved a hand with a hint of melancholy.

"I'm fine. Just thinking about a friend."

"Is he… gone?" she asked softly.

"Yes," Chiga replied. "But there's a chance we might meet again someday."

Someone who was gone… might return? Kalifa couldn't understand what he meant, but considering Chiga's abilities, it didn't seem impossible.

Ain, who had been quiet, suddenly pointed toward the horizon.

"Chiga, look! There's an island over there!"

Chiga and Kalifa blinked at her, surprised by the outburst.

Since leaving HQ, they'd passed by countless islands. Ain's excitement was like someone pointing at a car on a highway and yelling, "Look! A car!"

Noticing their expressions, Ain's face turned red. She realized how silly she sounded—but she had meant to distract him.

Unlike Kalifa, Ain didn't always understand Chiga's mood. In moments like these, she felt clumsy and helpless.

So, she did what she could… even if it was just making a goofy comment.

Standing straight and stiff, she mumbled awkwardly, "I just wanted to distract you…"

Chiga and Kalifa both chuckled. Kalifa quickly pulled Ain into a warm hug, cooing like a mother to a daughter.

"Ain, Ain, you're just too adorable!"

"Ehh… eh…" Ain mumbled, flustered.

Watching the two, Chiga smiled. The gloom in his chest eased. He had already gained more in this world than he ever imagined. With the Rinnegan, some regrets might yet be undone. But for now, he would cherish what was right in front of him.

Suddenly, the ship's navigator rushed over, pointing to the very island Ain had mentioned.

"Vice Admiral Chiga! Strange currents have appeared near the island! The warship's been caught—we might be pulled in any moment!"

"Hm?"

Chiga frowned. They had already been dragged in before noticing the currents? That was late.

Still, it wasn't the navigator's fault. The crew was handpicked by Fleet Admiral Sengoku for their skill—this must've been an unpredictable natural event.

Even so, Chiga made a mental note: he needed a top-tier navigator. One who could help them avoid trouble like this altogether.

He waved the navigator off calmly.

"I understand. You can go. Don't worry. I'll have the ship stop nearby. I'll go investigate the island myself."

"Yes, sir!"

As the navigator ran off, Chiga examined the island. There was something unusual about it.

More and more currents had begun forming, pulling the ship toward the shore. And in the sky above the island, a flock of giant birds circled ominously.

The ship shook violently beneath their feet.

Chiga snorted, floating into the air. Hovering above the deck, he reached out and placed one hand on the warship.

"Shinra Tensei."

BOOM!

A repulsive force erupted from his palm, engulfing the warship and blasting it safely away from the current's grip.

His control was flawless—there wasn't even a scratch on the ship's hull.

With the ship secure, Chiga turned mid-air and rocketed toward the mysterious island, propelled by his own repulsion force.

He was going to uncover what secrets lay hidden there.
