Chapter 125: Plot? What Plot? Everything’s Already Gone Off-Script

Himeko didn't hide anything from Tesla's questions. She nodded in affirmation.

"That's right! We're all from worlds beneath the Imaginary Tree. That's probably why Old Yang could reach our world too. And that's also the reason for alternate versions of people from different worlds."

Same individuals, different lives.

Didn't Kiana become the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles in that adjacent Genshin world? Mei was Raiden Shogun there too.

So this was perfectly normal.

"This is worth some serious research. If I could find a way to reach your world, that'd be incredible!"

Tesla's eyes lit up with excitement. She really wanted to investigate this further.

"Then do your best to figure it out," Himeko encouraged. "If you manage to open a path, maybe Old Yang could return one day."

Whether it would succeed or not was uncertain. Old Yang had been researching the same thing, but without results so far.

Tesla nodded seriously. She would dive deep into it.

While the two were talking, Hyperion had already landed.

As the hatch opened, everyone quickly disembarked.

The sight of Takumi's group stepping out left those waiting below utterly baffled.

"Old Yang's here too!"

The moment Honkai Himeko spotted him in the crowd, her eyes lit up. She hurried over to him.

Some students stared blankly at the two Himekos.

Who was this younger Himeko? She looked so graceful! So much more elegant than their usual teacher.

Whispers spread like wildfire.

"Principal, what's going on?"

Fu Hua looked utterly confused. At Bronya, then Himeko and Takumi.

Especially Takumi.

This guy gave her an overwhelming sense of danger.

Her battle instincts screamed at her to run. Just like the time she first faced the Herrscher of the End.

Takumi also turned his gaze on Fu Hua.

The plot of Honkai Impact 3rd had already completely gone off-script. Fu Hua was still alive and well.

Which probably meant that Elysia might never be born in this world?

Unacceptable.

The great Herrscher of Knowledge must appear!

He'd find a way to make Fu Hua reincarnate—let Elysia be born anew.

With Takumi's current authority over this world's Honkai, he could absolutely do that.

Once he handled everything here, he'd go meet Prometheus.

"It's a bit complicated to explain," Theresa interjected. "We'll go over it later."

She glanced at Fu Hua and fell silent, her attention shifting to Himeko's group.

Fu Hua understood the hint and didn't press further.

Meanwhile, Honkai Himeko approached Old Yang.

"Old Yang, I have a letter for you. You should take a look."

Without further ado, she handed him the envelope.

Old Yang froze. His eyes landed on the handwriting—and they widened in shock.

It was unmistakably his own.

He hurriedly opened it and began reading.

The more he read, the more shocked he looked.

Tesla walked over. "Unbelievable, right? But it's all true. That letter came from the future you, sent through someone from another world."

She smacked her lips. This day felt like a dream.

Old Yang didn't respond. After finishing the letter, he put it away and looked at Himeko.

"Thank you. Tesla, looks like there are some things I can pass down early."

Currently, Wat Yang hadn't planned to head to the Eye of the Abyss. Or rather, maybe he didn't need to go at all now.

Tesla was taken aback, but quickly nodded.

"Do what you must."

Since they now knew what the future held, there was no more need to hesitate.

Old Yang nodded with resolve. He'd hand the Core of Reason over to Bronya.

The future version of him had already confirmed her potential. She was undoubtedly the right choice.

He believed in his future self.

No hesitation remained.

He immediately walked over to Bronya.

"Bronya, let's have a private chat."

He didn't waste words.

Hearing that, Bronya frowned slightly.

"Go," said the mature Bronya. "He's giving you your license."

Seeing how serious Old Yang looked, she had a pretty good idea. The Himeko from the future must've told him something.

That helped him make this decision.

The younger Bronya paused, then nodded.

Old Yang studied this mature Bronya. So much curiosity inside him.

Still, he needed to handle the transfer first.

He didn't have much time left.

Better to pass things on sooner rather than later.

With that, Old Yang and Bronya left the scene.

After they left, Takumi and the others were ushered into the conference room at St. Freya Academy.

The mature Bronya sat beside Takumi, curiously watching the games of this world.

She had mainly come here for fun—and to check on this world's Bronya.

If possible, she also hoped to meet the orphanage companions.

The fighting? That was Takumi's job.

Since Bronya was away, she turned to the internet to explore this world's games.

Takumi, too, was feeling a little bored. He was waiting for Otto to arrive.

So he started chatting in the group chat.

Takumi:

[Everything's pretty much confirmed. I'm safe here. Shouldn't be a problem even if I head to Himeko's world later.]

Only after confirming this could he fully relax.

As long as he watched out for the Aeons, visiting Honkai: Star Rail's universe would be fine.

And he wasn't about to let Aha underestimate him!

Zhongli:

[That makes things simpler. Once I finish preparations here, I'll need your help.]

Zhongli smiled as he typed. His world was also beneath the Imaginary Tree.

If Takumi had no problem in the Honkai world, then visiting Teyvat shouldn't be an issue either.

Liyue's relocation plan could proceed.

Though it wasn't urgent.

Lumina had only just started her journey through Liyue.

And the Mondstadt dragon crisis had only recently been resolved.

Takumi:

[OK~! By the way, old man, how are those books I gave you working out?]

He was genuinely curious.

Had Liyue's Qixing put those texts to use?

How far had Liyue developed since then?
