Chapter 197: Anything Related to 'Magic' Can Be Instantly Mastered

The cursed children were the happiest in Aincrad and also the most diligent. Maybe they all wanted to become strong enough to help Takumi in the future.

Takumi glanced at Aincrad's backend logs and saw that Tendo Kisara and some magical girls had just defeated the first-floor boss. Ever since this place opened, that battle maniac spent most of her time here whenever she wasn't at school—more than anyone else. Liliya had apparently sent a whole group of magical girls to Aincrad too, with the rule that they weren't allowed to leave until they cleared all one hundred floors.

After reading through the logs, Takumi didn't bother to interfere—he'd let them play however they wanted.

With that thought, he vanished from the spot. There were more important things to do—namely, condensing a new Authority. As for his friends, they could enjoy this world on their own. Takumi didn't need to worry about them.

He didn't work on this Authority at home, but instead went straight to the moon. There was nobody else on the moon, so Takumi could mess around however he liked. He picked a nice spot, sat down, and closed his eyes to organize all the magic knowledge in his mind.

Takumi had wanted to condense a new Authority for a long time, but had always been interrupted by various things. Now he finally had a chance to get it done.

He got to work, compiling all the magic he knew and merging it together. To put it simply: he created a new folder, stuffed every bit of magic he'd mastered into it, and then changed the folder's format so it became a program. As long as he ran it, the Authority would be complete.

As Takumi got busy, huge magic circles began appearing around him on the moon. All the spells he'd learned were unleashed there, creating a surge of magical energy that immediately caught everyone's attention below.

At the Science Academy, Dr. Mei immediately asked Prometheus what was going on. "Is something happening? Did something go wrong?"

Prometheus explained right away, "It's Lord Takumi on the moon. No need to worry! Lord Takumi is condensing a new Herrscher Authority." She knew exactly what Takumi was up to—she'd hacked the Cocoon of the End before, so she understood his current state.

Dr. Mei understood right away. "I see. Got it!"

Since nothing was wrong, there was no need to intervene. Prometheus relayed the message, and Mei went back to her own work. She was busy spreading technology and preparing for space exploration—ready to step outside the solar system. The plan now was to set up her own research base on Mars. There was nothing left to research on this world's moon, since Takumi had turned it into a server.

Now, the focus was on Mars. Ever since the Gourmet World was linked up, Mei had new ideas: some foods from that world could survive in harsh environments, so she could bring those here and use them to terraform Mars into a habitable planet, making it an outpost and slowly expanding outwards. Only by stepping beyond the solar system could true development be achieved.

Besides that, she needed to train more talented people. There were too few scientists, but many children had real potential. If properly nurtured, they'd become pillars of the future. That's why Mei was so busy, constantly setting new plans. Takumi had left the world's technological development entirely in her hands—however she wanted to develop things, everyone would cooperate without question. Here, she could go all out, and it made her quite happy.

After confirming there were no issues, Dr. Mei left Takumi alone and focused on her work. But as evening fell, people began noticing odd things on the moon. Every now and then, gigantic magic circles would appear—no one could make sense of it. Even Liliya stared blankly at the sky. What was going on with the moon? What was Takumi doing this time? She was certainly curious, but since Takumi wasn't around, no one could explain it.

Many people spent the day at Takumi's place and left as night fell—except for those staying to study. So they didn't see what was happening on the moon. When Fujiwara Chika posted pictures of the spectacular magic circles in the group chat, everyone was baffled.

Saten Ruiko: [What's going on? Why are there so many magic circles?]

Ruiko was extremely curious—what was Takumi's world up to now? How did it end up like this?

Fujiwara Chika: [Seems like Takumi is up to something. If something's happening, it's always Takumi!]

Anything strange in space, it had to be Takumi's doing.

Miori Shiba: [Takumi is condensing a new Herrscher Authority—turning all magic into a single Authority. If a new Herrscher appears, it'll definitely be a Herrscher of Law!]

Miori Shiba knew what was up and explained to the group.

Everyone was shocked after reading her explanation. Takumi had mentioned this before, but everyone thought he'd already done it. Who knew he was just getting started? There was no denying it—the stuff happening on the moon looked truly spectacular.

People in the group started discussing it, but soon the strange phenomena on the moon vanished—Takumi had finished forging the new Authority.

Takumi opened his eyes on the moon, feeling the Authority now within him. He was very satisfied.

"Not bad! After condensing it, this Authority is incredibly powerful. Whenever I want, I can cast any magic. Even spells I don't understand, I just need a glance to master. Anything related to magic, I can see through instantly!"

Takumi reviewed his new Authority, and couldn't help but smile. As long as something was related to 'Law' or 'Magic,' he could instantly grasp and use it—even improve upon it. Chanting or not, it didn't matter; Takumi could cast it in an instant!
