Chapter 345: Girl, Do You Want to Live in Another World?

Takumi: [Quick, go take down that ultra-cute loli!!]

Fujiwara Chika: [Is there Wi-Fi or not?!]

Sagiri: [That's a huge fish—tiger-toothed shark!]

Takumi: [Welcome the indescribable Nyaruko!] [Applause~~!!]

Fujiwara Chika: [Yay!!]

...

With Nyaruko's arrival, the group chat turned into complete chaos.

Even though her world looked normal on the surface, Nyaruko was a legitimate eldritch god.

Nyaruko—Nyarlathotep.

Kutko—Cthugha.

Lian Tian—Hastur.

These were all names tied to actual eldritch deities.

Takumi would never believe there wasn't some connection.

Maybe they were just alternate accounts for those beings.

Nyaruko: [2D waifus!!!]

Nyaruko had finished reading all the chat logs.

She was instantly fired up.

So many 2D waifus!

Takumi: [Get lost, they're all mine.]

Fujiwara Chika: [Oh my goose liver!!]

Sagiri: [There it is—pure 2D!!]

Nyaruko: [Hehehe!!] [This chat is so much fun.] [Everyone's using their real names, so it must be real, right?] [How do I go to another world?]

Nyaruko was excited.

She desperately wanted to meet her waifus.

Takumi: [Do check-ins, complete tasks.] [Check-ins are daily, tasks are random.] [Alright, I'll let the others explain the rest.] [I'm going to explore this world.]

Takumi gave a quick orientation in the chat.

Then left the rest to the others to explain.

He was done participating.

"Eldritch god, huh." "Now we've got this kind of being in the group too."

Bronya knew about Cthulhu mythos as well.

Nyaruko's origin was one of the Three Great Pillars:

The Crawling Chaos, the Thousand-Faced God, the Messenger of the Outer Gods, Father of a Million Favored Ones.

"Still, she's just a cute girl."

Takumi shrugged.

Though terrifying, she was a moe girl now.

Not exactly unnameable.

"Aren't some moe girls on the internet just as unspeakable?"

Bronya glanced at Takumi.

He made it sound like being cute excluded horror.

These days, unseeable, unspeakable, unthinkable beings were all over the net.

Some even were cute girls.

Or maybe it was because they were cute girls that they were unnameable?

Takumi burst into laughter.

He knew exactly what Bronya meant and nodded in full agreement.

Exactly!

Way too many of them.

"Where are we going next?"

Jibril didn't quite follow their conversation.

Now that Takumi and Bronya were done talking, she asked where they were headed.

"Obviously to find Tabane Shinonono." "She's the most valuable person in this world." "Let's see if I can bring her to our world."

When Takumi thought of IS, it wasn't the characters that came to mind.

He wasn't a fan of this world's cast.

Since he was here, his interest focused on the creator of IS: Tabane Shinonono.

This world's genius scientist.

The only person who could create an IS core.

And she was currently being hunted globally.

Everyone wanted to capture her and obtain IS core tech.

So she was constantly in hiding.

But it was simple for Takumi to find her.

He hacked the network as usual.

Then searched for Tabane's location.

Finding her sister might be hard, but locating her would be easy.

She was a diehard siscon—she probably planted backdoors in her sister's devices.

It didn't take long before Takumi locked onto her location.

She was in an underground lab on an island.

Well-hidden, admittedly.

Takumi smiled.

He opened his imaginary number space and stepped out.

Bronya and Jibril followed close behind.

The three of them landed on the island.

Tabane noticed immediately.

In her pitch-black lab, several monitors were tracking every landing event on the island.

No blind spots whatsoever.

Any humanoid lifeform would trigger alerts.

So when Takumi's group appeared, she instantly knew.

Tabane let go of her keyboard.

Her gaze swept across the screens.

When she saw the trio emerge from a spatial rift, her eyes widened.

"Hello~!"

Suddenly, all her monitors were hijacked.

Then, Takumi, Bronya, and Jibril appeared behind her.

She was so startled she fell off her chair.

Then she quickly turned around to look at them.

"Who are you???" "Aliens??"

Tabane stared at them in shock.

"Nope!" "We're from another world."

Takumi lit up the lab with a flick.

Then conjured a sofa and sat down.

Bronya and Jibril rolled their eyes but sat down too.

They quietly stared at Tabane.

When Takumi mentioned another world, her brain short-circuited.

Another world?

Was this a joke?

Tabane was dumbfounded.

"I'm not joking." "Sit." "We don't mean harm." "Besides, there's nothing in your world worth spying on." "It's a bit outdated."

Tabane twitched slightly at that.

Country bumpkin tech, sorry.

Still, since Takumi said that, she didn't press further.

She climbed into her seat and faced the trio.

"So why are you here, exactly?"

She knew everything in her lab had been taken over.

She glanced at her monitors.

Completely useless now.

The whole environment seemed frozen in time.

Even the world outside.

"Just wanted to meet you." "And maybe... offer an invitation." "Want to immigrate?" "Move to another world—your talent will shine there." "This world holds you back." "If you accept, you can bring your parents, friends—everyone." "Let's start a new life elsewhere."

Takumi smiled warmly as he invited her.

Girl, wouldn't you like to live in another world?

There's nothing left here worth clinging to.

You're already hiding and running from place to place.

Why not just move on to a whole new world?
