Wu Zhi felt the acupunctures connect, like a new web of veins it spread through his whole body. Enriching his qi, all of his body, his own mind was effected. "Bleh!" As he barfed out more impurities from his body. A practiced routine came over him of cleaning up the mess. He had long found out the most effective way to clean up his mess without making his abode stink like crap. All he had to do was sweep it off the edge and then use some fresh water to clean it all up. His body has grown to be around 6 foot and 3 inches at 14 years of age. A relatively tall man by all measures. His height growth had made all of his old clothes unusable. To fix this he ripped some holes in his blanket and wore it like a poncho, while tearing up some cloth from his old ones to tie parts of the blanket together. He dressed like a beggar, but looked like a young giant. "Just in time" he said to himself. He had been vaguely counting the days, so he wouldn't be surprised when they opened up his cave. He had around 2 days left before he left secluded mediation if his estimations were correct. Just in case he wasn't he left some rations for himself to last for about another year if push comes to shove. He had also noticed that he had become a lot more relaxed and patient as of late. Probably do to all the meditation he had been doing. 'I should get some sleep' he thought to himself, as he headed for bed to wait for the end of his secluded meditation. He didn't really have another technique to practice as he only brought the basic qi gathering technique and the 32 hidden acupunctures. He would have to get some more contribution points to get himself another technique to practice, he thought to himself as he drifted asleep.
Xue Yue was excited for today. Today was the day she would get to see that kids face after he had ruined her work. She was petty enough to hold a grudge for eight years over something so small and be fine with it. Still she had little to no expectations, best case they found a cripple crying for his mommy and worst they would find he had killed himself by jumping off the ledge. It didn't even cross her mind that the person who went into secluded cultivation would have a sane mind. She was so confident in-fact that she preemptively brought a doctor to evaluate the patient with her today. Even the doctor - when she gave the full context - didn't have any good expectations for what there were going to find when they opened up the cave. "Do it" she said as one of the workers moved the boulder, with a loud rumbling the boulder slowly moved out of the way. What she saw shocked her. It was a tall young man with a blanket draped over him. He had golden blonde hair and a gentle relaxed temperament to him. The doctor gave her a weird look, "This is the child" he whispered. "Yes I'm sure of it" she answered back.
Wu Zhi woke up just in time to get out of bed and present himself to however was beyond the boulder. He saw an older version of the receptionist he saw back then and a middle aged man in white robes standing beside her. "Umm, hello" he said, obviously rusty to what to do or what to say in society. "Ahem!" the man coughed, "my name is Yun Liang. I am a doctor that was sent to make sure you are mentally capable and in good health". "Oh, ok" Wu Zhi responded... "right then, I might as well start the tests. Do you have an suicidal thoughts or thoughts about harming yourself" the doctor asked. "Uh... no" Wu Zhi responded. "Do you have any thoughts about harming others or enacting a revenge" The doctor asked. "No" Wu Zhi once again responded. "Do you have any imaginary friends or people who keep you company when you're alone"? "No" "To your knowledge do you have any head injuries or missing memories"? "No" The doctor looked over at the receptionist and then back at him "alright then, all that's left is a physical examination of your health and cultivation". The doctor then looked over to the women and said "That means we need a private room" he said in a loud voice. That seemed to wake the girl up as she was in a stupor. "Oh, of course, most of our rooms are in use you can use this one right here to do the physical" she could see the worker who had just moved the boulder curse under his breath but she didn't care. She wanted him to do the examination here so she could at least get some kind of clue when looking at the doctor's expression after the examination. "Alright then" he said as he made his way into the room. Wu Zhi tried his best, but there was still some lingering smell. The worker then moved the boulder back into place, still cursing Xue Yue under his breath.
"Alright I'm going to check your height, weight, cultivation level, and overall health". The doctor then proceeded with the tests. "You are six foot three inches, 190 pounds, 8th level of the qi refining realm, and you are in good health" he said. "One more thing, since this is a full physical I will have to make sure you are healthy down there.". An awkward few minutes pass by as he completed all the tests. "All right you're all set" he said. He went up to the boulder, concentrated for a second and then knocked it twice. "Throng, Throng" a loud resonance sound reverberated. A loud rumbling happed and the boulder moved out of the way once again. "How are the results doctor" Xue Yue asked, now very interested. Yun Liang coughed and responded "It's none of your business". He also seemed slightly embarrassed by the question as well. "He is fully healthy, and can be reintroduced to society with no complications" The doctor said as he left the area. With that it was time for Wu Zhi to make his way back home.
